As I briefly explained above there are three elements to the game of Age of Gods Bonus Roulette.
At its core is a 38 pocket Roulette Wheel, much the same as an American Roulette wheel that has a Zero and Double Zero Pocket. In the Age of Gods Bonus Roulette, the Double Zero pocket has been replaced by a pocket marked “Bonus”. It’s also been moved and placed next to the Zero pocket, which is a good thing as you’ll be able to exploit this positioning during betting, as I’ll explain later, in the strategy section.
The game starts with Betting Time, where you can place two bets, one mandatory and one optional.
The mandatory bet is any roulette bet on the betting grid. You can place any Roulette bets you like, utilising Inside and outside bets as well as the regular French bets for sections of the wheel. A race track helps with the placing of those bets and neighbour bets.
Making a bet on the betting grid activates entry into the Progressive Jackpot. 0.99% of your bet is used to fund the jackpot.
The optional bet is the Bonus Bet, which can be placed for any amount. If the ball lands in the Bonus pocket and you have an active bet you’ll be eligible for the Bonus Round.
At the end of betting time, no more bets can be placed until the result of the spin is known and betting time is opened once more.
In my video review of Age of Gods Bonus Roulette, you’ll see me play a few game rounds and explain in detail how the game works.
I also show the bonus round and explain the best strategy for betting.
The Age of Gods Progressive Jackpot is run network-wide, which means that all casinos and players playing the game contribute to the jackpot each time they make a bet. 0.99% of each total bet is used as the contribution.
A number of different Age of the Gods games contribute to the jackpot, it’s not limited to just the live dealer game. Age of Gods Slots, Age of Gods RNG Roulette all contribute the same.
There are four jackpots, with each one triggering randomly.
Each of the jackpots increases in real-time as bets are placed and can grow into quite substantial sums.
When the Jackpot bonus round is triggered the player is presented with a screen containing twenty coins. The player has to flip/turn over the coins until three of the same type are revealed. When that jackpot round ends and the player is paid the jackpot amount that the symbols correspond to. The jackpot is not shared among players, it’s paid to just one player. Happy days!
Note: You can see in the drop-down when each of the Jackpots last triggered. The details give some idea of how often they trigger and for what sort of sums.
The bonus round is entered by placing a bet on the Bonus section of the betting grid.
The amount can be anything you like, subject to the paytable limits set by the casino you’re playing through.
If the ball lands in the Bonus pocket on the roulette wheel and you’ve place a bet you’ll be eligible to take part in the RNG Bonus Round.
The bonus round consists of 3 spins of an RNG Slot machine. There are three reels on the slot and the win line has to have 3 matching symbols to qualify as a win. Each set of symbols has a corresponding multiplier payout assigned to it. Once the three spins have completed the win multipliers for each winning spin are added up for the total payout, which is applied to the amount that was initially bet on the Bonus pocket.
Your stake is not returned as part of the payout.
It is possible not to win on a spin, but it’s also possible to win 100x per spin, giving a possible maximum payout for the bonus round of 300x!
I’m not going to pretend there is a specific strategy for Age of Gods Bonus Roulette.
There is however a way that allows you to make a straight-up bet while also covering the Bonus Bet.
If you’re going to play the Bonus Bet, I’d advise that you place a split bet, with Zero. That way you’ve doubled your chance of a win if the ball lands in that section of the wheel. I wouldn’t just place a straight-up bet on the Bonus.
There is no strategy for the Progressive Jackpot. Just placing a bet gives you a chance of being randomly selected. It really doesn’t matter if you’re playing low or high stakes roulette, your chances of being selected are the same.
If I have to convince you the game is fair, you probably shouldn’t be playing online live roulette games.
Age of Gods Bonus Roulette is a live dealer game, that is played using a real roulette wheel. A live dealer controls the game and spins the wheel, just like in any land-based casinos. The only difference is you don’t have to travel to play, you can play at home on your PC.
The games are monitored like you wouldn’t believe and have to comply with so many regulations that it’s difficult to believe the game would be fixed in favour of the house.
I’ve done lots of research on whether Live Roulette is fixed. I suggest you have a look at that article.
The playing interface has a number of features that help you play more efficiently. They are common across all Playtech live roulette games, so what you use here can be used elsewhere.
The first one to mention is BetBuilder, which can be used to create your bets offline. When you’re ready you can place your prepared bet on the betting grid. The Bets are saved in the bet-builder and can be reused across roulette tables. So if you use the same patterns, it saves a lot of time!
Auto-play is essential if you don’t want to miss a game round, and with Age of Gods Bonus Roulette you want to make sure you don’t miss the bonus round coming in. Once you’ve placed your bet on the table, select Auto-play to repeat the same bet for up to 99 spins. You can set loss and win limits to stop auto-play. This is great if you need to pop out for a cup of tea, or if you’re playing while doing something else.
LuckyDip can be used to select up to 7 random numbers on the table to bet on. The bets are placed as straight-up numbers and won’t include the bonus Bet, which has to be added separately.
Statistics are probably one of the most important features to look at. I use them to see when the Bonus Round last hit and the multiplier that was won. I like probabilities, so if I see the bonus round hasn’t been triggered for a while, I’m more likely to start playing than if it hit more recently.
Age of the Gods Bonus roulette has it all.
If you want to play live dealer roulette with some additional edge, surely this game has to be in your top three.
Apart from the standard American style roulette, there are two additional ways you can win money. The progressive jackpot is free to enter – well not quite, it happens automatically every time you place a bet. The payouts for this are massive and are randomly triggered.
The Bonus bet is optional, it takes nothing away from the main game RTP, and can pay up to 300x when it hits.
I can see how this game is so successful. If you don’t believe me, just play a few rounds to see.
Age Of Gods Bonus Roulette can be played at all online Playtech Live Casinos.
The choice of where you play is very much down to personal preference, however, I’d encourage you to choose one of my recommendations, only because I know they are safe and will pay you when you win.
They also have a good selection of welcome bonuses and on-going promotions, so you’ll certainly get well looked after.
Age Of Gods Bonus Roulette is a live dealer game of American roulette, where the double zero pocket has been replaced with a bonus symbol. A bet can be placed on this, and if the ball lands in the pocket an RNG bonus round is triggered, which can pay up to 300 times your bet.
You can win by playing the normal inside and outside roulette bets. You can also win the randomly triggered Progressive Jackpot and the Bonus bet. Luck has to be on your side, and using a betting strategy can help your chances.
There is no strategy that can guarantee you’ll win. But there are ways you can bet that increase your chances. The key is not being too greedy and using the bonus bet as a bit of fun, rather than a way to make big wins.
