Ezugi Live Sic Bo is the first of three new live dice game titles being launched by Ezugi.
Thankfully, the first game, Live Sic Bo, follows the traditions of the original authentic Asian Dice game.
That’s a great place to start and one that should introduce new players gently to the art of playing online live dealer dice games, and for the more experienced player give them something they are more familiar with.
The setup for Ezugi Live Sic Bo is quite simple – a Sic Bo Dice shaker sits on top of a specially designed pedestal, while the live dealer sits to one side, being there to commentate on the game and initiate the dice shake once betting time has been completed.
The playing interface is entirely computer generated and overlays the physical studio view, so you get a complete view of the betting grid and betting options.

Ezugi Live Sic Bo is played by predicting and betting on the result of three dice, that are shaken in a glass dome.
There are lots of betting options, which are based on totals, the appearance of a number, multiples of a number, or combinations of numbers.
The game round starts with twenty seconds of betting time, where you get to place your bets on a betting grid, picking out the combinations you want to bet on.
When the betting time has closed, the dealer will press a button that activates the shaker in the glass dome. The dice skip and dance around under the dome until they come to rest.
The numbers facing up on each dice make the result.
The system calculates the results – compares that with your bets and you’re informed whether you have won, with a celebration animation in the middle of the screen.
On the face of it, betting on Ezugi Sic Bo looks very complicated. The look of the betting grid doesn’t help, dominating the screen as it does.
But once you get over what it looks like, the actual betting is very straightforward.
Put simply you can bet on:
To get you started the most straightforward bet is the Big/Small Bet, which is an each-way bet that pays 1:1, even money.
Bet Big if you think the total of the three dice will be between 11 & 17, or Small if you think the total will be 4 to 10. Note, that if a triple is rolled the bet loses.
Bet | Bet Description | Standard Payout |
---|---|---|
Small / Big | A bet on the total of three dice.
| Small Pays 1:1 Big Pays 1:1 |
Total | Where you’re betting on the total of the 3 dice being a specific number. | 4 or 17 pays 62:1 5 or 16 pays 31:1 6 or 15 pays 18:1 7 or 14 pays 12:1 8 or 13 pays 8:1 9 or 12 pays 7:1 10 or 11 pays 6:1 |
Single | labelled ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE and SIX which represent the six face values of a dice. You win if one of three dice, two of three dice or all three dice show the number you bet on. The more dice that show the number you bet on, the higher your payout | Single pays 1:1 Double pays 2:1 Triple pays 12:1 |
Double | Place your bet on any of the six Double-labelled betti ng areas. To win, two of three dice must show the same number. Please note that regardless of whether two or three dice show the same number, the payout remains the same. | Double pays 8:1 |
Triple (Specfic) | Place your bet on any of the six Triple-labelled betting areas. To win, all three dice must match the number chosen. | Triple pays 180:1 |
Any Triple | Place your bet on this box to cover all six diff erent Triple bets at once. To win, all three dice must show the same number. | Any Triple pays 30:1 |
Combination | Place your bet on any or all 15 possible two-dice combinations. | Combination pays 5:1 |
The payouts for Ezugi Live Sic Bo compare well with the other versions of Sic Bo you can play.
You are missing out on the Odd/Even bet, but other than that the payouts are comparable.
Be careful with some of the bets, which get voided should a triple be thrown. It’s not many of them but it’s worth knowing which ones are affected.
Check out single bets, as these can pay out even if a double or triple is thrown. The return is obviously less than if you’ve bet on a double or triple separately – but you still get rewarded which is a good thing.
A return to player of 97.22% can be expected using the Big/Small bets as the reference point.
Overall the RTP has a range of between 95.02 to 97.22%, which is dependant on the bets being placed.
The bets with the highest payouts will have the lowest return to the player over the long term.
Every result of the three rolled dice rolled is recorded in a series of statistical charts and roadmaps. The purpose is to provide information on past events, so you as the player can use that knowledge to try and predict a future result. The stats are used as the basis of most playing strategies in this game.
How likely are you to be able to predict a future result? Well, that is the perennial question and one asked by gamblers and especially Baccarat players for hundreds of years.
The statistics in Ezugi Live Sic Bo are grouped into two types. A road map for the Big/Small bet and a statistics list for the actual roll results.
This chart depicts a number of elements of the last rolls of the dice.
The road map is displayed in a more traditional view and depicts for each game round whether the result was Big or Small and the sequence the results occurred.
You read the chart from left to right. After the first result, if the next is the same it is recorded in the same column as the first. If it is different then a new column is started. With this type of road map, you can see sequences and whether the results are choppy.
A T stands for Triple.
Let me start by saying that big wins on Ezugi Sic Bo come when you either bet big on a low-risk betting option or when you’re betting on the positions that have the biggest payouts.
What is common to both is making sure you have a bankroll that will last for the type of risk you’re prepared to take.
I like to think of a game like Ezugi Sic Bo as having three types of bets.
Let’s have a look at each one in a bit more detail.
Lower risk bets are those where the outcome is generally one of two results.
In Sic Bo this is the Big / Small bet – The result will either be a total between 4 & 10 or a total between 11 & 17.
There is a third option – which is a triple. If this is rolled you’ll lose as this isn’t one of the betting options.
If you want to hedge this bet, then place a bet on the Any Triple section, making sure it’s enough to cover the previous losing bets if it wins. – If you want to know how much to stake you can work out how often a triple comes in by looking at the statistics.
This bet can be placed with Big or Small sums – it’s all down to the bankroll you start with. My advice is to not bet more than 10% of your bankroll in any betting round.
To get better returns we need to adopt a riskier strategy when playing Ezugi Sic Bo online.
This is the section where I sit when I’m playing. I like to mix it up a bit and play in a number of different ways.
I’m always considering how to keep my bankroll turning over, waiting for that one win that will make me do a withdrawal.
For me it’s not necessarily about how big the win is, it just needs to be more than what I sat down with originally, and also I have to have a decent amount of playtime too. After all, it’s all about being entertained.
So this approach or strategy is about placing riskier bets than 1:1, but still hedging them in some way, so if one bet fails the other comes in, thus minimising the losses.
This is my favourite betting strategy for betting on Ezugi Live Sic Bo.
It simply involves placing a bet on each betting position that contains one of the number s of one through to six, or a betting position where the numbers make up the total of the number.
I call this my Number Strategy.
Pick one number, let’s say that number is four.
I now place a bet, where ever there is a four in the betting position, or the total equals four.
You don’t have to use 4 but you get the idea.
If one 4 appears in the 3 dice you’ll make your money back plus some. If there are no fours, it’s still possible to win as long as the total of two or three dice equals 4.
I use four as an example – my choice will be influenced by the previous statistics and seeing which are the “Hot” numbers.
In my opinion, this game is best played on a desktop in full-screen mode.
You get to see all the information clearly and without having to adjust anything.
Mobile is a viable alternative, but if you want to watch the live stream it’s not the best viewing experience. You have to rely more on the computer-generated graphics to tell you what’s going on.
It’s excellent that Ezugi has built its first dice game based on the traditional Sic Bo. It’s a great place to start.
The game plays well and quickly, and all of the information you need is readily at hand in the playing interface.
The styling and presentation of the game are simple and effective – I like that they haven’t gone with the traditional Asian theme and gone for something more generic, as that will help attract more players.
There is an issue when they use taller dealers, as their head gets obscured by the playing interface. I suggest they reposition the dealer to the right side as we look.
Besides that, this is an excellent addition to their portfolio of live dealer games.
Ezugi Live Sic Bo is the first of three live dealer dice games to be produced by Ezugi. It is based on the traditional Asian game, where you bet on the outcome of three dice that are rolled. The dice are actually shaken in a clear glass dome, so you can see the action as it unfolds.
This game is one of the easiest to play. All you have to do is place a bet using the comprehensive betting grid. You can bet on single numbers, number combinations, and dice totals. You can bet simply or place lots of bets – the choice is yours.
The dealer is there to commentate on the game and also activate the dice shaker when betting time has finished. They also call out the results which you see on the screen. You can also have a chat with them while you play – so they do lots of things.
You can play at any online casino that has Ezugi Live games. My recommendations are LeoVegas or DublinBet.
Absolutely not. Sic Bo is a game that can be played by anyone. Don’t let the betting grid put you off. It really is a simple game.
You’ll probably surprise yourself, but Sic Bo is one of those games that can provide you with hours of entertainment if you are clever with how you bet.
I use a few strategies when I’m betting on Ezugi Live Sic Bo. There are low-risk strategies and higher risk strategies. They all take into account your bankroll, your attitude to risk, and the outcome you’re looking for.
