Which live casino game has the lowest house edge? What live dealer game is the best to play if you want to win? Which Live Casino game gives the best payouts for the smallest bet? What is the best RTP on Live Casino Games? Which Live Blackjack game has the lowest house edge and the best table rules?
These are all questions that are commonly asked about playing live dealer games. If I had a pound for every time I’ve been asked this, I’d have £5. lol.
Seriously though, there are live casino games that are better to play if you’re looking for a long playing session, and there are games that can give big payouts for risky bets.
I’ve analysed all the live casino games ‘RTPs, the payouts, the live casino odds, and win potentials for all live dealer games.
The answers lay in the data I collected and presented in a summarised list called a Live Casino Games RTP & Payout Table.

Return to player (RTP) is a theoretical return you’ll get over an infinite number of game rounds, and House Edge is what’s left.
If RTP is 99.00%, you’re expected to get back £99 for every £100 you wager, while £1 will go to the casino. Theoretically and in the long run.
By looking at the RTP, you can know if the game was set up to rob you of your money or not.
However, it doesn’t always translate to reality, as RTPs are calculated using millions of hands of play. In contrast, an individual player might play anything from a few hands to a few hundred. The variance of results between these can be huge.
Judging a game by its RTP alone may help some, but it should only indicate how well a game can perform over the long term.
The UK Gambling Commission gives a great explanation and advice on RTP, while Gambleaware has published some excellent research on understanding RTP Messages, which are worth reading. I also particularly like Gaminglab’s RTP Description.
In my opinion, you shouldn’t just rely on RTP to help you choose a live dealer game to play.
Win potential should also be considered, which I’ll be exploring as we compare live dealer games RTPs.
The ideal is to find a live dealer game with a high RTP and significant win potential.
Blackjack is a game known to have the lowest house edge of all casino games, and that includes live dealer blackjack, which is the best way to play blackjack.
However, big wins are not possible in blackjack as the payouts are either 1:1 or 3:2 (for Blackjack) when you do win.
To ensure you can achieve somewhere near-optimal RTP, you should use Basic Strategy and avoid the side bets.
Learn the different Blackjack Table Rules and how they affect your game.
Also, avoid the games with multipliers and funny rules. They have a terrible RTP, regardless of how they present the games with big payout opportunities.
The best win payouts, i.e. multiples of your initial bet, are with live games with win multipliers or side bets with enhanced payout odds.
Great games to play that have huge win multiplier potential are:
Some of these have multipliers that range up to 999,999x.
In terms of side bet Payouts:
The initial bet can be as low as 0.10 a spin/hand on all of these!
Big wins can result from playing a game and wagering a large amount or by playing a game that has Big Win multipliers.
The best RTP for live games is not indicative of the size of the payouts you can receive. A low RTP live game can often pay out more but less frequently.
Some of the biggest seen are those on Monopoly Dream Catcher, with a 9600x multiplier being the most recent.
Imagine if you were playing at 0.10 a spin!
It depends on your attitude to risk and how quickly you want to experience the big win.
With games like Monopoly, Crazy Time, Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, Gonzos Treasure Hunt, and even Lightning Baccarat or Quantum Blackjack, the big wins rarely happen.
If you can’t wait that long, a big bet on Blackjack or Roulette Odd/Even is probably better.
The biggest win you have to keep hold of is the 5000x awarded on Playtechs Money Drop Live. This game pays out large multipliers regularly, but the game is about trying to keep hold of the win when playing the money drops!
How does live blackjack compare to its traditional and automated counterparts? Quite well, actually.
Whenever you’re inside half a per cent of the house edge, 0.50%, you’re playing a top-notch blackjack game.
Again, you might be interested in my Most Favourable Blackjack Rules page, where I explain the rules and their effect on the house edge.
There’s a game above all others, Portomaso Oracle Live Blackjack, with a house edge of only 0.30% because you’re allowed to resplit up to four hands, which is a record among live blackjack games. You can play it at Vbet. The action is streamed right from the Oracle Casino in Malta. There is no casino where UK players can play it, though, as Portomaso software doesn’t have a UKGC licence.
Oracle Live Blackjack | Portomaso | 99.70% | Play At Vbet |
Live Blackjack | Betconstruct | 99.60% | Play At Vbet |
Infinite Blackjack | Evolution | 99.55% | Play At Playojo |
Unlimited Blackjack | Playtech | 99.50% | |
Live Blackjack Early Payout | VIG | 99.50% | Play At DublinBet |
Live Blackjack | Ezugi | 99.50% | Play At Leo Vegas |
Allbets Blackjack | Playtech | 99.46% |
The next best games are those that offer Surrender, which would be Betconstruct Live Blackjack, Ezugi Live Blackjack and Visionary iGaming Live Blackjack Early Payout. These are all above what the mainstream developers have to offer.
The best blackjack game by a prominent developer is Infinite Blackjack by Evolution. It has a house edge of 0.45% and an RTP of 99.55% (despite even the developer’s claims of it being 99.47%) that stems from a very favourable set of rules. The dealer checks for Blackjack only on Ace, not 10. There’s a 6-Card Charlie rule that says you automatically win if you draw six cards.
Playtech has two excellent blackjack games whose rules differ slightly from the best Evolution product. Unlimited Blackjack has a useless 10-Card Charlie Rule, and the dealer doesn’t check for Blackjack, while AllBets Blackjack has all the good rules except for the 6-Card Charlie.
The usual RTP for Evolution Blackjack games is 99.29%, which will apply to games such as Seven Seat Blackjack, Speed Blackjack or Salon Prive Blackjack.
Then some games have bonus features but have a poor RTP, such as Power Blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack and Lightning Blackjack.
For Playtech’s Quantum Blackjack (99.47%) and Quantum Blackjack Plus (99.57%), the numbers represent the RTP if the player uses an optimal strategy, whatever that might be.
RTP should therefore be taken with a grain of salt, and we can’t consider these games particularly favourable unless you can play them optimally!
I keep mentioning this across this website; French Roulette has a house edge halved to 1.35%.
If you’re playing even-money bets such as Red/Black or Odd/Even, the La Partage rule gives you half of your stake money back if you lose when the ball lands on Zero.
All European Roulette has the same RTP of 97.30% for a house edge of 2.70%. Those are the values you’ll get on French Roulette if you play something other than even-money bets.
There are different types of Live Roulette so check them out.
There are games with two balls, such as Double Ball Roulette, and games with win multipliers, Quantum Roulette, Lightning Roulette and Xxxtreme Lightning Roulette.
When it comes to roulette, you might be better off focusing on the table limits than on house edge.
Look into low stakes roulette and high stakes roulette to learn more.
Baccarat is, more or less, the same game wherever you play it. The house edge is 1.06% if you bet on Banker and 1.24% on Player; that’s it!
All other variations of live baccarat and all other bets in this game are inferior to the above. This includes No Commission Baccarat which doesn’t take a commission on Banker wins.
Lightning Baccarat and Golden Wealth Baccarat are breathing new life into baccarat as they offer multipliers – and, therefore, a chance of winning big in this even-money game. The RTP in these two versions remains almost the same.
You’ll find both games at LeoVegas casino.
Live Dealer Poker games are often ignored because they are seemingly difficult to understand how to play.
They are easy to play; you need to understand the value of poker hand rankings and follow a strategy.
Live Casino Poker has some of the best RTPs after Blackjack.
Ultimate Texas Hold’em, for example, has an RTP of 99.47%, as does Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker.
Both of these compete with 99.54% of Unlimited Blackjack.
Another benefit of playing poker games is the Progressive jackpots attached to them at Evolution Live Casinos.
If RTP is your priority, I’d recommend playing Unlimited Blackjack by Playtech and using Blackjack Basic Strategy when playing.
This will give you an excellent chance of leaving the table with a profit.
Note: Do not play the side bets as they are not player friendly and are highly volatile.
You’re most likely to win the most money playing Monopoly Dream Catcher, Lightning Dice, Crazy Time, and Adventures Beyond Wonderland Live.
All these have to win multipliers and, therefore, the potential for huge wins.
The live casino game to avoid is Side Bet City, with an RTP of 94.34%.
Another one to avoid is Live Mega Ball (95.40%) and Deal or No Deal (95.42).
The last two have good win potentials, though, so I’d probably strike Mega Ball off the list.
Live Roulette and Entertainment games like Monopoly Dream Catcher & Crazy Time seem to have captured the hearts of gamblers everywhere.
Roulette has an RTP of 97.30% and Dream Catcher 96.23%.
If you look in any game lobbies, these three games have the highest number of players.
The next is Casino Hold’em, which does well among the many varieties of online live dealer poker games.
You’ll find all the Live Casino Games in order of the RTP each has. I’ve noted the best win potentials for each live casino game and the maximum payout.
You’ll also find a link to the casinos where you can play the games.

I hope I’ve explained that while RTP is an indicator of a live casino game’s win/loss potential, it isn’t indicative that you’ll win on a game with a higher paying RTP.
It would be best if you took away that some games are more volatile than others.
Games with Win Multipliers often have a base game with a much lower RTP than usual, as something is needed to pay for the wins from the multipliers. You can’t have a great paying base game with great win multipliers all the time. There has to be a balance between the two.
Games that get the balance wrong don’t last long or are not popular with players.
Evolution Monopoly Live And Crazy Time are two of the most frustrating games. They also happen to be the most popular because they have massive win potential.
However, that doesn’t stop the player’s moaning, which indicates that they shouldn’t be playing these games. They’ll be forever frustrated as they don’t understand the volatility and, therefore, the risk mechanic of the game.
RTP stands for return-to-player and indicates what portion of your total bets you’re expected to get back over an infinite number of game rounds.
House edge is the opposite of RTP and represents the percentage of total money wagered that will stay with the house instead of in your pocket. All casino games are set up to have a house edge, which is why ‘the house always wins. In the long run, at least.
Blackjack is the game with the lowest house edge, and various Casino Poker games aren’t far behind. Baccarat, Sette e Mezzo and Cash or Crash are also near the top.
Blackjack is the casino game with the highest RTP, upwards of 99.50%, depending on the table rules.
