Ezugi Revolution Roulette is quite literally a new spin on multiplier roulette.
Gone are the RNG multipliers, and in comes a new forty-pocket roulette wheel, which includes three multiplier pockets.
This game is truly a live multiplier roulette game, and it is only the second one created by a live casino developer. The first was Nexus Roulette by On Air Entertainment.
In this review, I’ll explain how to play Revolution Roulette, how to win the multipliers and where this game sits among the other multiplier games.
Revolution Roulette uses a bespoke Roulette wheel with 40 pockets. Thirty-seven are numbered 0 to 36, and the three extra pockets contain multiplier values of 2x, 3x, and 5x.
I’m assuming you already know how to play roulette, so I’ll not be going into much detail on how to play the game. To learn more, read my How to Play Roulette Article.
I will, however, cover the game’s general principles as they are as relevant to Revolution Roulette as regular European Roulette.
The essence of this game is based on European Roulette, with a single Zero. The main difference is the extra three pockets containing multipliers evenly spaced around the wheel.
The game follows a familiar sequence.
There are 13 seconds of betting time, long enough to place basic bets directly on the betting grid.
An alternative method is the RaceTrack, where you can place section and neighbour bets.
Unlike other roulette providers, Ezugi doesn’t allow users to save betting patterns as favourites or use the statistical data to place bets. This is very much an old-school playing interface, which is strange when such a leading-edge wheel is used.
Remember: All Inside and Outside bets qualify for the multipliers, so stick to your usual way of playing.
The dealer starts spinning the wheel only after the betting time has closed. The wheel is spun from the last result position and in an alternate direction from the previous spin.
The wheel is unlike other roulette wheels because it contains 40 pockets. It also uses light to follow the ball around the rim before it drops into the pockets, allowing you to follow where the ball is during the spin. However, I found this more of a distraction than a help.
The result can be a number, in which case players with a bet covering the number will receive their payout.
Or, the result can be a multiplier, either 2x, 3x or 5x.
If the ball lands in one of the multiplier pockets, all bets remain in play, and the Dealer will spin the wheel again.
The ball can land in another multiplier pocket. If this happens, the multipliers are multiplied, and the total is used to multiply the final payout.
For Example, the ball lands in the 2x pocket, then the 3x pocket, which makes the multiplier total 6x. If you had a bet on a straight-up number and it won, you would get 28:1 x 6 = 168:1, plus your stake back!
As I mentioned, you can place bets directly on the betting grid using a mouse or touching the bet position if you’re playing on a mobile device.
You can also use the Racetrack, which allows you to place section bets; each section has a name or a neighbour bet, where you select how many numbers you want to bet on the other side of the number you pick.

Each covers a different set of numbers, either as Straight-Up Bets, Splits, Corners or Lines.
Inside Bets have a higher payout because they cover fewer numbers.
Outside bets have lower payouts because they cover more numbers and groups of numbers on the wheel.
As this is a multiplier roulette game, and no fee is being charged to play, the payouts for all bet types have been adjusted down from what you’d typically receive in European Roulette. The adjustment is to pay for the multiplier payouts, a common feature of these games.
As all bet types benefit from the Multipliers, all payouts are affected.

Three panels display the game statistics using up to the last 500 results. A results ticker shows the previous seven results rolling along the bottom of the playing interface.
The Top five Hot and Cold numbers are listed and shown visually on the wheel. The Hot numbers are shown in Red, and the cold in Blue. The golden colour represents the multipliers.
The Advanced results display the win percentages of each of the Inside and Outside bets, including the French Bets covering the wheel sections. There’s a result slider to display the last 10 results up to the previous 500, and you can expect the percentages to change as you add or remove results. The more results showed, the more in line with the game RTP. The fewer results shown help identify trends.
Up to the last 500 results can be displayed. You’ll see the number and its colour. If the result is a multiplier, its value is shown.
Revolution Roulette is a rare multiplier game because it doesn’t use RNG to deliver the multipliers.
Only two other suppliers have games that don’t use RNG. Nexus Roulette by On Air Entertainment uses multiple Roulette wheels to deliver multiplier payouts, and Religa has Triple Way Roulette, which uses a roulette wheel with 111 pockets!
However, Revolution Roulette is much easier to understand and play.
Another unique aspect is that all Inside and Outside bets benefit from the multipliers. Only one other supplier, Winfinity, has a game, Cabaret Roulette, which also allows Inside and Outside Bets to qualify for multipliers. The standard payouts are much lower through because the multiplier payouts are higher.
Revolution Roulette is the only genuinely live game where every bet type benefits from the multipliers. Not bad, eh?
The good thing about Revolution Roulette is you can use standard roulette strategies when playing.
You don’t have to do anything special to benefit from the multipliers. All numbers on the wheel can benefit when a multiplier is hit. All you have to worry about is getting the result right.
The good news is that any Inside or Outside Bets will benefit from the multiplier, so you don’t have to make Straight-Up bets; you can bet on any betting position.
This opens up loads of betting opportunities.

However, I’m not a fan of them as they are very volatile and you could lose a lot of money.
I prefer to use the following strategy on Revolution Roulette.
European Roulette has an RTP of 97.30%, but Revolution Roulette doesn’t quite make that.
The RTP is 96.65%, but that’s including the multiplier payouts.
Without the multipliers, the actual RTP is 78.37%. So, the multipliers are responsible for bringing the RTP back up – but not quite to the levels of European Roulette.
These stats tell us you’ll lose your bankroll quickly unless you get multiplier payouts. There’s a 7.5% chance the winning pocket will be a multiplier, so you should get on every 13 spins.
Now, use that information when you place your bets.
Revolution Roulette is a revelation in multiplier roulette games because it uses a manual method for picking the multipliers and allows both Inside and Outside bets to benefit from them.
The 40-pocket roulette wheel is unique; no one has one so that alone should entice the curious player to try it.
The payouts in this game are not massive, but if you get a couple of multipliers in a row, you might end up with a 500x payout. However, that is unlikely.
I’m disappointed that the playing interface doesn’t have the usual features you’d expect from a live roulette game. No favourite bets exist, and you can’t place bets using the statistics panels.
My other gripe is that the betting grid obscures part of the wheel, so you lose sight of the ball when it travels around the rim.
I’m not used to playing with a lit wheel, which I found distracting. Although it helps you track where the ball is, I don’t think the game benefits from this feature.
But, if you want a genuinely live multiplier game of roulette, where all bets benefit from then, this is the only one!

There is no way to cheat on Revolution Roulette. While the wheel has 40 pockets, the spin’s outcome in landing in a particular pocket cannot be influenced.
The type of bets you make and luck will determine how easy you find winning. Outside bets stand the best chance of winning, but the payouts are lower than you’d usually expect because of the multipliers. The game isn’t easier to win than regular roulette, but if you bet carefully and manage your bankroll, you might get lucky and have a few multiplier wins.
