Authentic Multiplay Blackjack was a bit of a surprise for me, as I hadn’t expected it to be that good!
It is an eight-deck game of Blackjack, played with one player hand, that an unlimited number of people can play.
There are Seven Blackjack Side Bets and an Early Cashout facility that can be used before the players first two cards are played.
If you want a fast-paced game of live blackjack with all the trimmings I thoroughly recommend giving Multiplay Blackjack a go!
In this review, I’ll take a look at how to play Multiplay Blackjack, describe each of the side bets, examine the Cashout option and discuss the best strategy for when to use it.
I’ve also produced a short video demonstrating playing Multiplay Blackjack and put together a list of casinos where you can play.

Multiplay Blackjack is Authentic Gamings first non-live roulette game to be produced.
It’s a straightforward game of Vegas Rules Blackjack that an unlimited number of players can take part in. One player hand is dealt which everyone plays as if it’s their hand.
Using some special computer effects, the player only sees how they have played their hand, with the eventual stand position represented by a computer image rather than the physical cards themselves.
The game comes with seven side bets, two of which we have not seen before.
Before you start playing here is a quick list of the key features of Multiplay Blackjack.
Multiplay Blackjack is played like any other game of Blackjack. The objective is to beat the dealer’s hand, either by the dealer’s hand busting or by having a hand greater in value than the dealers hand up to Twenty One. Blackjack is the highest possible hand, made up of a ten-card and an Ace.
The game round begins with betting time.
Early Cash out is offered ater the player and dealer have both been given their first two cards.
The cash-out value is calculated on the cards dealt and the probability of the hand winning.
In the example in the picture, I have bet €5 and be given a total of twelve against a dealer’s upcard of Six.
The Early Cash out offer is €4.25, which is below the amount I originally bet.
There are times during a game round when taking an Early Cashout is the correct strategic thing to do.
If you look at my basic strategy card it shows you the hands that you should surrender.
In this case, you shouldn’t surrender, because the dealer is showing a six, which means statistically he is likely to bust. We shouldn’t take a card on twelve. We should let the dealer bust.
You can play up to seven optional side bets alongside the main multiplay hand.
Side Bets are notoriously good for the house and bad for players, as the RTP favours the house the most and it’s where the casino makes most of their money on the blackjack table.
Live Dealer blackjack is no different. Here are the RTP’s for the seven side bets.

The best way to play Multiplay Blackjack is to use a strategy. There is a well-documented strategy for playing blackjack. You’ll see or hear it referred to as Basic Strategy.
There are several versions, so make sure you use the one for the version of Blackjack you’re playing.
In Multiplay Blackjack you’ll need the one that covers eight decks, with the dealer standing on ALL seventeens.
There is a version here, that also covers the hands when you should take an Early Surrender/Cashout.
Multiplay Blackjack is a multiplayer game of live blackjack, produced by Authentic Gaming. It allows an unlimited number of players to play the same hand and has seven optional side bets to spice things up.
The main difference between the two is there is only one player hand in multiplay blackjack. The hand can be played by an unlimited number of players, each playing the hand as they see fit. The overall experience is the same as playing seven-seat blackjack.
There is a strategy for playing Multiplay Blackjack. It’s known universally as Blackjack Basic Strategy. It doesn’t guarantee you’ll win, but it does guarantee you’ll play the game in the most mathematically optimal way and ensure you’ll achieve the RTP of 99.5%.
Multiplay Blackjack can be played at casinos with Authentic Gaming live dealer software. Popular casinos include PlayOjO and Leo Vegas.
The RTP is 99.50%, one of the highest RTP’s you can get in Live Blackjack.
You’re able to play multiplay blackjack on all devices types. The Mobile interface is excellent and well worth a try.

I was a bit sceptical whether Authentic Gaming would be able to produce a game that wasn’t roulette.
So when I tried Multiplay Blackjack I was pleasantly surprised.
It’s very good!
I particularly like the game rules and the Early Cash-out option is a real bonus. It gives a little edge back to the player.
The seven side bets are cracking, so if you like to mix the game up, play a few.
The only downside is the noise from the adjoining tables. The roulette and dealers are too loud, so rather than providing atmosphere the noise is intrusive and lessens the enjoyment while you’re playing.
If you like to try other games from Authentic I can recommend:
XL Roulette – A game with variable multipliers – you choose the level of risk/reward you’re prepared to accept.
