The bonus rounds are probably the weakest part of the game and can’t compete with the bonus rounds developed by Pragmatic Play and Evolution.
The RTP is 96.67%, which aligns with the other entertainment game shows, so there is nothing to be gained by moving between them.
Is the Greatest Cards Show entertaining? I’d say to a point, but there are better games if you want more emotional swings.
The Greatest Cards Show is an entertainment game of two halves for me.
The main game is excellent. I love the different aspects the wheel has – horizontal rather than vertical.
And I love how the cards get distributed around the wheel, which lends itself to section betting – which is how I like to play Roulette.
The studio and presentation are excellent.
But I feel the bonus rounds let the game down. While they deliver the multipliers, none of the bonus games is fun to play. The Jokers Game, a duel between the card suits, takes way too long and doesn’t build anticipation as other games do.
In truth, I was left a bit flat by all the bonus rounds – ideally, you want something to make you get emotional, and these didn’t.
As for improvements – the statistics could be better and an option to place bets in sections – a racetrack would undoubtedly help the betting process.
I think this will be a popular game, especially for Roulette players, who will find some common themes with the traditional devil’s wheel.
