Evolution Gaming Games are among the best live dealer games you’ll come across online. They have the most extensive and comprehensive games catalogue, which covers Dice, Cards, Live Slots, Poker, Bouncing Ball Bingo Games and Entertainment Gameshows.
Within the categories, most games come in multiple varieties, including at least one “Lightning” Game, which delivers multiplier boosts to payouts.
The most well-known game is Crazy Time, which consistently has the highest concurrent player count. Still, their core games of Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat remain as popular as ever.
In this article, I list and describe every game Evolution has produced, including my brief thoughts.
I also include links to the full game reviews, which contain information on how to play and the best strategies.
If you’re not already playing at a casino, I have listed some of the best Evo Games casinos you might want to try.
Evolution started as a live dealer games developer, with Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat at its core. As their games became more popular, they added two poker games, Casino Hold’em and Three Card Poker, before adding more popular titles like Carribean Stud Poker and Ultimate Texas Holdem.
The first big wheel game, Dreamcatcher, arrived, and this game set the foundation for most of the entertainment gameshows that followed.
Dice games started with Sic Bo, with the most popular land-based game in America, Craps, arriving shortly after.
The most significant launch for Evolution and the live casino industry was Lightning Roulette, where random straight-up numbers received boosted payouts of up to 500x. This game has revolutionised live dealer games, and indeed, for Evolution, it’s spawned a complete range of Lightning games across every category.
The next most significant innovation was the introduction of bonus rounds to the Dream Catcher game, which saw the release of Monopoly Live. This bonus-driven game has paved the way for Crazy Time, Funky Time, Lightning Storm, and others, with payouts that reach as high as 5000x plus.
As you’d expect, being an online games developer, you’ll find Evolution games at many Online casinos – I’ve produced a short list here.
But you might be surprised that you can also play some games in land-based casinos in the UK and across Europe.
The most popular game is Evolutions Dual Play Roulette, where you can play roulette on the casino floor in many casinos. You’ll play alongside real money players online and vice versa—UK casinos such as the Hippodrome and Genting stream roulette, while Grosvenor streams Roulette and Baccarat. European Casinos include Casino Malta & Dragonara, Grand Casino in Bulgaria and Casino Luzern in Switzerland.
You may not know you can play Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time at the Hippodrome Casino in London. These launched in early 2024.

Dead or Alive Saloon is a card-based game with a minimum payout of 20x and can potentially boost that with bonus multiplier cards.
It’s played with one deck of 52 playing cards and one of 52 Bonus Cards.
You aim to bet on the playing card the dealer will turn first. If you guess correctly, you’ll win what’s in the multiplier pot.
An unlimited number of people can play Dead Or Alive Saloon. A freshly shuffled deck is used for each new game.

Top Card or Football Studio is a game based on Dragon / Tiger with a football theme.
The dealer is usually knowledgeable about soccer, initiates conversations and keeps track of the scores in important games.
Other variations get launched during significant sporting events. So far, there’s been football and tennis.
The game is a straight clone of Dragon / Tiger. You place a bet on which side will have the highest card.
It’s as simple as that!

Crazy Time is without Evolutions’ most successful game. It has the most player numbers and has produced some of the biggest wins.
Crazy Time is an entertainment game with the Dream Catcher wheel as the main element. Players bet on segments on the wheel, including four bonus round segments.
If the wheel stops on a segment you’ve bet on, you’ll win that amount. If the segment is a bonus round, you’ll enter it for a chance to win multiplier payouts.
It’s a game like no other. It can frustrate the hell out of you but, at the same time, keeps you coming back for more.

A good alternative, with an RNG bonus round, is Monopoly Big Baller. You only play four cards but get the excitement of 3 and 5 rolls bonus rounds.

Crazy Coin Flip is the first Live Slot created by Evolution. They have used the Coin Flip element from Crazy Time as the Bonus round for this game.
Super Andar Bahar is an Indian-inspired card game with the Evolution multiplier treatment. It’s the first Andar Bahar game that pays a maximum of 4000 times your bet.
Teen Patti is the second Asian-themed game to be produced by Evolution. It’s a copy of 3 card poker but has been around just as long.
|
Launched as an alternative to Crazy Time, Funky Time is carving its niche.
With its distinctive 64-segment Digiwheel, giving instant wins and access to four bonus rounds, this gameshow is fun to play and has excellent potential to deliver large multiplier wins.
Monopoly Big Baller is the second gameshow by Evolution that uses the Monopoly Bonus Round. The first was Monopoly Live.
In this game version, you play up to four Bingo cards hoping to make lines to win multiplier prizes.
Play the additional two Bonus Cards, and you could end up in the Monopoly Bonus round playing for 3 Rolls or 5 Rolls.
Large multiplier wins are possible.
The RTP is 96.10%.
Video Poker Live takes the traditional Video Poker Slot game and brings it to the live dealer stage.
You can play up to 100 hands, with the first five cards dealt from a single deck by a live dealer.
You can play five different versions, starting with Jacks or Better, Tens or Better, Deuces Wild, Bonus Poker and Double Double Bonus Poker.
It’s a hugely popular classic game with a fantastic RTP that should have players queueing up to play.

Lightning Ball is a lottery game where you can play up to 200 one-line lottery cards, each containing five numbers and a Powerball number.
You need two numbers to win. Lightning numbers are chosen at the start of the game, which boosts the payouts if you get one within your winning numbers.
This excellent, quick and easy-to-play game can give some fantastic payouts. Just be careful not to bet more than you can win.
Crazy Pachinko is a five-reel slot game with ten pay lines and a live Pachinko Bonus round if you get three scatters.
You can play an additional top-up round to boost the final multipliers on the Pachinko Wall, which can pay a massive 10,000x.
It’s a fun and relatively simple game, and although the slot can pay 20x on some lines, you won’t want to play it for longer than you need. It’s possible to shorten the qualification process by buying the feature for 75x your bet!
Five Bonus rounds, Twenty Instant wins, and a 39-segment wheel that changes its layout every spin will get your attention!
Lightning Storm brings all the best out of Evoution in a live gameshow with a whopping 20,000x maximum payout.
The game is as volatile as you want to make it, with several innovative betting features that help you zero in on the type of bets you like to make.
There’s a good use of RNG on the Bonus rounds, so don’t expect much participation. Instead, enjoy the graphics and studio design as the big payouts electrify you.

The Balloon Race is the final part of a three-round live slot game in which the first balloon to float to the top of the screen determines the winning multiplier payout.
You need to qualify for the final round in this live slot by getting three scatters or wilds on the pay lines of a five-reel three-row slot. With three qualification modes, you can choose how quickly you want to qualify, but it will cost you.
Enter the Top-Up round, where it’s optional to top up the multipliers. The higher the bet, the bigger the multipliers. Be sure not to overspend!
The final Balloon race determines how much you win.
Lightning Sic Bo is an upgraded version of Super Sic Bo. This three-dice game comes with a 20% Fee, which gives you bigger multipliers on all bet spots.
It’s possible to win 2000x if you get a triple with a multiplier.
This is a cracking game, and the studio is delightfully decorated in the “Lightning” theme we’ve seen on other games in the genre.
It’s a game for low and high-risk players, as you can control the volatility by how you bet.
Extra Chilli Epic Spins is a live slot game using the Extra Chilli Slot from Big Time Gaming.
The game consists of a slot where you try to trigger the bonus round by collecting symbols that spell out the word HOT in one complete spin.
The bonus round is also triggered by a mystery Crate appearing or by the presenter hitting a Pinarta, which can reveal the letters HOT.
The bonus round is free spins, and when they complete, you play a Gamble Wheel to earn more free spins.
It’s not my favourite Evolution game, but it’s worth trying if you want something different.

Stock Market Live is not a live dealer game.
The whole game is RNG. You’re betting on whether a fictional group of shares will rise or fall during the game round.
You bet on High or Low and watch as the fictitious trades raise and lower stock values. If you guess correctly, you win a payout proportional to the amount the stock has risen or fallen.
It’s a bit like a crash game, but you don’t lose everything when you lose.
It’s not a game I play, but it’s proved very popular.
Monopoly Live is the game changer the live casino industry was waiting for.
Evolution paired its Dreamcatcher wheel with a Monopoly-themed bonus round where rolls of two dice propel you around a Monopoly board, picking up multiplier prizes as you go.
The massive win potential has drawn players to this simple but effective game. Even though more games in the genre have since been released, Monopoly Live is still a fan favourite.
Football Studio Dice is an alternative to Football Top Card, and it’s played with dice instead of cards.
There are two playing positions, usually Home and Away. Each playing position has two dice which are rolled. The side with the highest value wins.
Your job is to bet on which side you think will win. Other bets exist, like a Tie, which pays 8:1 or 80:1 for a drawn game of 2-2 or 12-12.
This game is also similar to Dragon Tiger.
Crazy Balls is a rework of Monopoly Big Baller, but instead of the two Monopoly Bonus rounds, there are four bonus rounds taken from Crazy Time – Coin Flip, Pachinko, Cash Hunt and Crazy Time.
The game uses a bingo ball-style machine to select numbered balls corresponding to numbers on four cards. Make a lineup, and you’ll win. Free spaces and multipliers improve the chances and value of the payouts. Complete one or more of the bonus cards, and you could be in for a decent payout. The RTP is the same as Monopoly Big Baller at 96.10%.

Evolution has two flagship titles, both attracting the most concurrent players.
The most innovative feature and what most developers copy is the multipliers or the Lightning Feature, which is now available as an option in every main game category. Lightning Ball, Baccarat, Blackjack, Sic Bo, Roulette, Dragon Tiger, Dice and Lightning Storm followed. The multipliers have revolutionised live dealer games.
Another innovative feature that Evolution was the first to exploit is the Bonus Round. It’s not a new concept, but it was only ever seen on slot games.
Evo took the idea and added it to some live dealer games. The first was Monopoly Live with its bonus round, then Crazy Time and Funky Time followed, with Monopoly Big Baller using the same monopoly theme in a bingo game. Lightning Storm combined multipliers and Bonus rounds to deliver a spectacular gambling experience.
One of the less obvious features that sets Evo games apart is the ability to sort Baccarat games by Roadmaps. The ability to undo a Predecision in Blackjack is also very handy, while a sortable lobby makes it easier to find the games you like to play.
Live Dealer games require physical equipment, such as tables, roulette wheels, card shufflers, Big wheels, and other features, which need to be accommodated in studios, where the games are presented and played.
Some games are presented in themed studios. For example, Baccarat tables are presented in studios decorated with Asian motifs and colours.
The visuals and graphics at Evolution are just as important as the games. Presentation is everything, so across the whole range of game categories, the way the game is presented is driven by the game and its history.
The visuals and design are authentic. Evolution doesn’t use Green Screen or other technologies much. What you see is built to present the games in the best possible way.
Augmented reality and animation enhance the presentation. The designers have been very clever in merging the physical with animation, which has made games like Monopoly Live possible, with Mr Monolopy walking around the studio as if he were there.
The User Interface (UI) is the touchpoint with players and plays an essential part in the User Experience (UX). Getting these wrong can make or break a game.
Over the years, this is probably where the most changes occurred, ensuring play is accessible on any device you choose. The UI has a familiar feel across all the games. Players must know where to find the bet buttons, chip values, etc. Some games require more information, like statistics and result histories, so these have been incorporated in a standard way. Evolution has made it easy to play their games through their attention to detail with the UI.
RNG is becoming more important in Evolution live dealer games. It’s being used because it’s cheaper, easier, and quicker to get licensed than a physically built alternative, which requires maintenance and upkeep to ensure it remains within agreed tolerances. So, as games have become more complex, with more bonus rounds and features, the use of RNG has become more common. It’s not something I like, but I have accepted the role it now plays in game development.
Evolution is known as a game innovator. They were the first with Multipliers, the first to add bonus game rounds to live dealer games, and a leader in pushing the envelope. However, they have had their fair share of failures. Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt and Gold Bar Roulette didn’t sit well with players. Both games were revamped and can now be found in the games lobby under new names.
The hard job is getting a player to a table to play. Once you’ve got them there, you must find ways to keep them there. So, the games must be engaging, presented well, have good visuals, and have a great UI. But that’s not all, and you need something extra to bring the player back, which is typically something they can’t get elsewhere. In Evolution’s case, it’s Progressive Jackpots. They all happen to be Poker games. Casino Hold’em, Caribbean Stud Poker and Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker.
The jackpots current stand for today February 8, 2025:
Evolution has games where the Return to Player (RTP) values run from a heady 99.59% for Cash and Crash down to 94.34% for Side Bet City. All the other games sit in between. A good slot game is anything with an RTP of 96% and above, although they are becoming rarer these days, so that makes live dealer games good value in comparison.
Blackjack, the most popular card game, has an RTP of 99.51%, so if you’re playing basic strategy, you’ll get close to getting your money back over the long term. In the short term, you can make some money, but you must cash out as soon as you’re in profit.
Video Poker at 99.54% is a game where strategy counts, but can give a decent return.

Evolution games appeal to a wide range of players, so the designers have had to be mindful that the stakes on the tables need to cover a wide variety of needs, from low to high rollers.
High Rollers tend to stick to Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat as their games of choice, so there is a range of high-stakes tables for these players.
The Salon Prive tables are a range of tables where you need a very high bankroll even to sit down, but when you do, you can have the table to yourself and get some privileges players on lower value tables don’t. You can request a shoe change and a specific dealer whenever you like.
Low rollers have the general play tables, but really low-value players will have difficulty finding games where the value of a bet is below £$€10. Tables with low minimum bets tend to be one-to-many games, where one hand is played by lots of people. Crazy Time is an excellent example of how low and high rollers can co-exist without impacting each other.
The other thing to look out for is dedicated tables at online casinos, which are restricted to players at a particular casino. These tend to have lower stakes tables for Blackjack.
The playing interface comes with several responsible gaming features.
The Auto Play facility is the one I like most, but it’s unavailable in some territories.
With this, you can set a bet amount and the number of game rounds you want to play. You can also set a loss or win limit to suit your budget and let the interface take care of the rest of it for you. This is not appropriate for games where you need to make a decision, like blackjack, but it’s perfect for helping you manage your money in roulette.
Then there’s the time-out feature, where you can get a reminder of how long you’ve been playing. It’s like an alarm: You set it for 30 minutes, and a pop-up will remind you how long you’ve been playing. It’s easy to immerse yourself in a game, so this feature is helpful. However, it can also be annoying when you’ve got autoplay on because it can interrupt the bet-making process!
It’s one of those crystal ball moments; it isn’t easy to predict. Evolution doesn’t give many clues about what they plan every year. The first we get to hear about it is at major industry conferences. ICE, for example, in February is traditionally the moment the live casino providers reveal their plans for the next 12 months.
On the innovation front, Evolution has stagnated a bit. The past 12 months have been more about sweating the assets they already have than bringing anything majorly new to the table. They’ve released more entertainment games and expanded the reach of the Lightning functionality. As to where live dealer games go next, I can’t even guess.
New releases seem to occur about once every two months during the year. You have to remember that live dealer games take a long time to develop, and it’s not just the games that take a long time. The studios have to be designed and built. A lot of time and effort goes into releasing a new game.
New games are announced once a year, but Evolution also produces a quarterly newsletter that sometimes reveals something new.
Overall, Evolution Games is the best in the industry. They have the most comprehensive set of gaming categories and the widest variety of games within them.
The quality of the streaming is second to none, and the visual presentation is quite stunning. The games seem to have been created with no money spared.
It’s difficult to criticize the games or playing interfaces as they do what they are meant to do. They don’t get in the way of your playing enjoyment and that’s key when you want to have a gamble.
If players’ numbers are anything to go by, Crazy Time is the best Evo game. It’s head and shoulders above the next game on the list. The best roulette game is Lightning Roulette, and Speed Baccarat surprisingly has a large following.
I would avoid Gonzos Treasure Map and Side Bet City. They are not great games, and the RTP is relatively low. You can do much better for entertainment value and return on your investment.
Crazy Time & Lightning Storm have the biggest payout potential of all Evolutions games.
Their games are good because they spend time designing them, and their attention to detail is excellent. They know how to create games that players will love.
This is a question often asked, and generally by players who have lost and feel cheated out of their money. I win and lose all the time; I lose more often than I win, but that’s the nature of gambling. Many controls in place make it difficult for games to be tampered with without being noticed. The advantage is always with the house. It’s how the games are designed. No one has ever been able to substantiate cheating claims or provide any evidence, so I’m prepared to believe the games are fair if you play them carefully.
