Infinite Blackjack is a low-stakes table, with a minimum bet of only £1, which suits casual and low stakes players. High rollers won’t be disappointed; the maximum bet is £5,000.

The usual way of playing Blackjack applies to Infinite Blackjack. The typical decisions include standing, hitting, doubling, splitting, and buying Insurance. The dealer stands on 17, which dictates the optimal Infinite Blackjack strategy, discussed further below.

In addition, there are four side bets, two of which are unique to Infinite Blackjack.

Where to play Infinite Blackjack

All Evolution casinos will have the game, but if you want my top picks, they’re Playojo and Leo Vegas.

Visit either one to play right away, or stick around and read the rest of my guide first.

Infinite Blackjack Benefits For Players

  • Players are always guaranteed a seat
  • There is real-time information about the playing decisions fellow players are making.
  • Six Card Charlie rule that’s rare in live Blackjack
  • Four side bets: Hot 3, Bust It, 21 + 3, and Any Pair
  • Minimum bet £1; maximum bet £5,000

Infinite Blackjack Table Rules

  • It uses eight decks of playing cards
  • The dealer always stands at 17
  • Double down on any two initial cards
  • Split initial cards of equal value
  • Only one Split per hand
  • No Draw to Split Aces
  • There is no Double Down after a Split
  • Insurance can be purchased when the dealer shows an Ace
  • Blackjack pays 3:2
  • Insurance pays 2:1
  • No Surrender
  • Dealer checks for Blackjack only on Ace, not 10

Other than those basic rules, there are four side bets and the Six Card Charlie rule for extra entertainment.

Side bets, of course, come with their own RTP.

Six Card Charlie Always Wins

The Six Card Charlie rule is something that makes Infinite Blackjack stand out from other blackjack versions.

It’s simple – if you can accrue six cards without exceeding 21, you’ll always be the winner, even if the dealer gets Blackjack!

Six Card Charlie is a rare rule in live Blackjack. I haven’t seen any other table offer this rule, and you don’t pay anything to play. It simply applies at all times.

Whenever you accrue five cards, use Basic Strategy to decide whether to take another card. A win is still a win; don’t be tempted to chase the Six Card Charlie. A Bust hand wins nothing!

The Four Side Bets in Infinite Blackjack

Blackjack side bets are always an interesting addition to an otherwise quite repetitive game of grinding small wins, in Infinite Blackjack we got four of them.

These are Hot 3, 21+3, Any Pair, and Bust It.

Hot 3 Side Bet: Rules, Payout and RTP

Hot 3 is a side bet unique to Infinite Blackjack.

It’s very similar to Lucky Lucky, using the player’s first two cards and the dealer’s up card.

The chance of winning this side bet is 23.78%, as shown in the table below.

The theoretical return to player (RTP) for a Hot three-side bet is 94.60%, for a house edge of 5.40%.

Bust It Side Bet: Rules, Payout and RTP

Bust It side bet is about the dealer going bust.

The Six Card Charlie rule only applies to you, not the dealer.

Also, note that the dealer must stand on soft 17, which reduces his chance of going bust (29.1% to 29.6% for when he must hit on Soft 17).

The likelihood of winning the Bust It side bet is 29.1% if you play all your hands.

If you force the dealer to go bust with 8 (or more) cards, you have won the jackpot: a 250:1 payout!

RTP for this side bet is 94.12%, which means the house edge is 5.83%, the highest of the four available side bets.

21 + 3 Side Bet: Rules, Payout and RTP

21 + 3 is one of the most common side bets in Blackjack. It has the lowest house edge of the four side bets in Infinite Blackjack.

RTP stands at 96.30% for a house edge of 3.70%.

You’ll win if the first three cards – your own two cards and the dealer’s up card – form a three-of-a-kind, a straight, a flush, or a straight flush.

Here is the paytable. Note the low probability for all winning bets, with the Flush being the most likely at only 5.88%.

Any Pair Side Bet: Rules, Payout and RTP

This side bet is also known as Pair Square, but Evolution calls it Any Pair.

The rules are simple – if the player’s two first cards are a pair, it’s a win.

The House edge of Any Pair side bet in Infinite Blackjack is 4.10%, which means the RTP is 95.90%.

Any Pair is a side bet in which you’ll win the top payout relatively often, once every 60 hands, on average.

The top payout is limited to 25:1, and the overall win probability is the lowest of the four side bets in this game.

Is It Worth Playing Side Bets In Infinite Blackjack?

Players bet on side bets for two reasons – to prevent boredom and to give themselves a chance of a big win.

It provides spice to an otherwise repetitive game, in which you stand to win or lose 1x stake per hand.

That said, side bets come with a varying degree of risk and house edge. It’s perhaps best to review the four Infinite Blackjack side bets side by side to see which one is best.

By looking at the table, it’s clear what the two side bets unique to Infinite Blackjack bring – an increased overall chance of winning.

With Hot 3 and Bust It, you’ll win on 1/4 of your hands and have a chance of a high top payout.

Use the information to help you decide whether to play one of these four bets – or none of them.

Infinite Blackjack optimal winning strategy

The table rules in blackjack dictate the optimal strategy for winning in the long run.

If you aim to maximize your winning potential, don’t play any side bets. Even if you get bored, side bets decrease your winnings in the long run since the house edge is more significant than the base game.

Considering all the table rules, Let’s continue with the best strategy for playing Infinite Blackjack.

A “Hard” hand is one where the face value of the cards adds up to one total. If the hand contains an Ace and the hand value is not a Blackjack, the Ace will be counted as One. Here’s what you should do if you have such a hand.

Hard TotalCorrect Decision
8 and UnderHit
9Double against Dealers 3-6, otherwise, Hit.
10Double against Dealers 2-9, otherwise, Hit.
11Double against Dealers 2-10, otherwise, Hit.
12Stand against Dealers 4-6, otherwise, Hit.
13-16Stand against Dealers 2-6, otherwise, Hit.
17 and OverStand

Here’s my guide for the soft hands in Infinite Blackjack. A “Soft” hand is where you can use an Ace as Eleven or One.

Hitting this hand can’t result in a Bust.

Soft TotalCorrect Decision
12 and UnderHit
13-14Double against Dealers 5-6, otherwise, Hit.
15-16Double against Dealers 4-6, otherwise, Hit.
17Double against Dealers 3-6, Stand on 7, otherwise, Hit.
18Double against Dealers 3-6, Hit on 9-A, otherwise Stand.
19 and OverStand

When you get a pair – hopefully, you played the Any Pairs bet! – These rules will apply when deciding whether to hit, stand, split, or double.

Novice players often overlook this part of the blackjack strategy, so here is a table that will be useful.

PairCorrect Decision
Ace-AceSplit
2-2Split against Dealers 4-7, otherwise, Hit.
3-3Split against Dealers 4-7, otherwise, Hit.
4-4Hit
5-5Double on Dealers 2-9, otherwise, Hit.
6-6Split against Dealers 3-6, otherwise, Hit.
7-7Split against Dealers 2-7, otherwise, Hit.
8-8Split against Dealers 2-9, otherwise, Hit.
9-9Split against Dealers 2-6 or 8-9, otherwise, Stand.
10-10Stand

With the above best strategy for Infinite Blackjack, you’ll reduce the house edge to a minimum.

You’ll, therefore, have the best chance of beating the dealer and the other good players playing Infinite Blackjack with you.

Is Infinite Blackjack Better Than Normal Blackjack?

Infinite Blackjack has a very good RTP of 99.47%, which is on par with the best blackjack tables. No silly rules hurt your profits, which is more common in Blackjack than we’d all like.

Infinite Blackjack is a fair game with all the correct rules.

On top of that, if you want to have fun, there are four side bets. Of course, these come with reduced RTP compared to the base game, but the house edge isn’t unbelievable. It’s what you’d expect from a fun side bet.

Finally, there’s always a seat available, so you never have to wait.

All players are dealt the same hand, and you can see the other players’ choices, which significantly adds to the game’s enjoyment!

You can actually “play” against other players, trying to make a better decision than them.

I like Infinite Blackjack, which is by Evolution, the top provider of live casino games, and they stepped up and delivered what the players wanted.

You can play at all Evolution casinos.
