Play Las Vegas Live Table Games Online

Las Vegas went mainstream in 2024. The Bellagio and MGM Casinos now stream Live Roulette and Live Baccarat tables directly from their floors to a worldwide online audience eager to keep playing after returning home.

Playtech Live made this possible with a deal many thought wouldn’t or couldn’t happen. How wrong they were!

In this article, I’ll cover each live game, giving details of the game, when the tables are open and where you can play them online.

Which Live Games are Streamed from Las Vegas?

As of 2025, five table games are streamed from casinos on the Strip.

Or, to watch the Video Review.

From the MGM Grand, you can play:

From the Bellagio, you can play:

All tables are open 24×7.

Why is it only Baccarat and Roulette?

It’s only Baccarat and Roulette because both are multi-player games. In an online scenario, an unlimited number of players can play because all you do is place bets on the outcome of a game round. For Baccarat, it’s whether the Banker or Player will win; for Roulette, it’s whatever numbered pocket the ball lands in. It’s a little more complicated than that, but you get the idea.

The other benefit is that people can play at the tables on the casino floor in Las Vegas simultaneously as players online. The only noticeable difference players in the casino will see is a few discrete cameras around or above the tables.

Let’s look at each of the tables

MGM Grand Live Baccarat

MGM Grand live Baccarat

The Baccarat table at the MGM Grand is a regular table with six betting positions. The positions are numbered One, Two, Three, Six, Seven and Eight, which players in the casino use. Online players have a virtual seat that an unlimited number of people can use.

The game is played with eight decks of cards held in a manual-dealing shoe. There are two playing options: regular Baccarat, where a Banker’s win pays 0.95:1, and No Commission, where the Banker pays 1:1, but a Banker’s win with a six pays 0.5:1. You can select the mode using a radio style button in the playing interface.

Side bets include Big/Small Tiger, Tiger and Tiger Pair, and Egalite (which the casino’s players can’t play).

Ties pay 8:1.

A complete set of interactive roadmaps shows the current shoe’s status.

Tipping the dealer is also possible through the playing interface. If you’ve had a particularly good win or run of wins, you might want to do this!

MGM Grand Live Roulette

mgm grand live roulette

MGM Grand Roulette is a European table with a wheel containing a single zero, which is unusual for a casino on the strip, as the most common version is Double Zero Roulette, which Europeans call American Roulette.

Also, unusually, this is quite a quick table to play. Betting time for online players is restricted to 25 seconds, while players in the casino get a few seconds longer, being able to bet while the ball is in the wheel.

The playing interface has a racetrack, making placing section and neighbour bets easier. The interface also has a bet builder facility and a lucky dip function for those who can’t decide which numbers to bet.

You can view statistics for the last 1,000 game rounds, and if you like making the same bets for each game round, autoplay is available.

Multiple camera angles give different views of the wheel and betting grid while avoiding showing players’ faces at the table.

MGM Grand Live American Roulette

The most obvious difference on the MGM Grand American Roulette table is the addition of an extra zero (double Zero) on the wheel.

The Double Zeros turn the RTP from 97.30% to 94.74%. That’s a staggering house edge of 5.26%, making it one of the worst games in the casino!

The playing interface is also slightly different. The section bets are no longer visible on the race track, which only manages the neighbour bets.

For some reason, maybe because Double Zero roulette has been the only table in town for a long time, Americans seem to love it!

My advice is not to play this version. Stick with European Roulette!

Betting time is again around 25 seconds, and you’ll play alongside players physically at the table in the casino.

Bellagio Live Baccarat

The setup at the Bellagio is the same as at the MGM Grand. The camera angles, table views and layout are the same.

The cards are dealt from an eight-deck shoe. Side bets include Tiger, Tiger Pair, Tiger Big/Small and Egalite.

You can pick from No Commission and Commission Baccarat, which have different payables and rules.

You’ll play alongside other players. For privacy reasons, the most you get to see are their chips and maybe their hands.

The RTP on No Commission Baccarat for the Banker is 98.54%. For the Banker on Commission Baccarat, it’s 98.94%.

Bellagio Live Roulette

The Live Roulette streamed from the Bellagio is Single Zero European Roulette.

With its multi-camera angles and close-ups of the wheel, the video provides a good view of the ball in the wheel and how players place their bets on the table.

While there are 25 seconds of betting time, when the casino and table are busy, time is extended to allow players to place their bets.

Time also has to be added when the dealer pays the winners or players want to cash in their chips, making this a more authentic playing experience.

If you notice, there is a sign warning players that this is a Dual-Play table shared with online players and advising that the game is being streamed online.

The Differences between Studio Tables and Land-Based Streamed Tables in Las Vegas

The most obvious difference is that the tables are on the casino floor and accessible 24/7 to anyone who wants to bet, ensuring online players worldwide can access them whenever they want. However, the casino is a less controlled environment than a studio, so outside influences can have an impact—like a player spilling their drink or arguing with the dealer or other players.

Dealers

The dealers at the tables are experienced and trained to a level that studio presenters are not. The dealer manages the table, the players, the chips, payouts, and incidents. In contrast, a studio presenter is responsible for spinning the ball in the wheel and calling the winning number. The playing interface and software handle all other aspects. Who’s got the better job?

The dealers in the studio are very disciplined and must behave in a specific manner. The dealers at the casino don’t have those constraints, so you’ll often see them hiding the cards with their hands or habitually tapping the table to the background music, which makes the cameras on the table shake.

The casino stream is less polished than the studio.

Camera Angles

There are typically three cameras at a minimum. Usually, there is one above the table, one at the end of the table looking down across the wheel, and one that zooms into the wheel when the ball is active. In the studio, a few more angles are covered and slow-motion repeats, which you don’t get on the Vegas tables.

Dealer Habits

I noticed this immediately, as the dealer’s behaviour in the casino is different from what you experience in the studio. The studio is a controlled environment, and playing at a table in a Las Vegas casino is a very different matter. These croupiers are masters of their art and can make or break a game with their attitude. If you play nice and tip a bit, you can build a good rapport with them, which is more difficult with the studio presenter, who has to hit their marks!

Benefits of Playing Live Streamed Baccarat and Roulette from Las Vegas Casinos

Online studio live dealer Baccarat and Roulette has pros and cons for players. The major gripe I hear is generally from players when they lose that the game is somehow fixed against them. No evidence has been provided to prove this. It’s just pure speculation by conspiracy theorists.

So what could be better than playing on a table in a real casino, with actual players standing next to it placing their bets and watching every move the croupier makes? It’s a no-brainer. However, the downside is slightly poor streaming quality and the extra time it takes to play a game. You get the authenticity of a real table with many eyes watching every move, which gives a further comfort level that the game isn’t fixed.

Moreover, these tables are located in some of the busiest casinos in the world, so they don’t need to cheat their players to make money. That’s already built into the game with the house edge. So, if you want an authentic game where the chance of fixing or cheating is virtually zero, you need to play at one of the tables streamed from the Las Vegas Casinos.

Where you can play Live Dealer Roulette & Baccarat from Las Vegas Online

Playtech is the only live dealer games developer to have an agreement with any Las Vegas casino to stream tables online. Other providers are working on doing something similar, but Playtech is currently the only one building a studio on the strip to stream more of their games.

So, if you want to play on the MGM Grand and Bellagio tables, you can only do it at online casinos with Playtech live dealer software.

About Neil’s Casino Comparer Reviews

I have tried to be objective and consistent with all my live casino reviews. Hopefully, they will strike a chord with you, but I thought it might be helpful to explain the criteria I use to mark each of the casinos. Hopefully, the categories and explanations make sense.

Playability – What is the overall impression of the casino? Did I have a good time? are the dealers nice and chatty and is everything easy to understand? Does it have a good set of games and is there a comprehensive set of betting options? Are high stakes players taken care of?

Software – What is the software like to use and does it integrate well with the rest of the casino?. Are the images clear and is the video streaming fast? Have they taken more than the default shared tables? Is it available on mobile?

Payment Options – Does the casino have a good variety of payment options? Do they payout quickly and on time?

Security – How good is the reputation of the casino amongst other players? Do they hold a valid gaming license? Are they transparent about the security measures they have in place? Are they regularly audited? Do they publish this information?

Support – Do they have multiple methods for communication with me? Is support available 24×7? Do they have instant chat and are they quick to respond? Are they able to help me immediately? Do they have an online FAQ and self-help library? Are the support people knowledgeable about the product I’m playing?

Bonuses – Do they have bonuses?. How strict are the wagering requirements? Do they offer repeat bonuses?. Do they offer loyalty points and can they be redeemed for cash or playing credits?

After all that, would I play there regularly?
