Immersive Roulette Deluxe is Pragmatic Play’s version of a live dealer roulette multi-camera game with slow-motion action replays.
It’s not the first game of this type to be launched on the market, but is it any better or as good as the existing ones?
I’ll look at how Immersive Roulette Deluxe stacks up and whether it delivers the playing experience Pragmatic hopes for. Will it suit VIPs and higher rollers, and how does it compare with the competition?
I’ll answer these questions and more in this review and demonstrate the game in my short video review.
Forget all the words and marketing fluff. Here’s a breakdown of what Immersive Roulette Deluxe is all about.
Immersive Roulette Deluxe is a style of live dealer roulette that includes slow-motion close-up replays of the final spin of the wheel, showing the ball bounce and spin before landing in the pocket.
It’s a format of game first launched by Evolution with their Immersive Roulette game in September 2013. It’s popular with High Rollers because of its HD imagery and multiple camera angles, allowing you to see every ball bounce.
Pragmatics’ version has fewer cameras and a presentation more in keeping with their existing studios, while Evolution has made an effort to distinguish this game with a specially designed studio that enhances the game’s special nature.
There are 18 seconds of betting time, in which you’ve got to get your bets down on the table.
You can do this by placing them directly on the betting grid, using the Racetrack, or anywhere you see statistics, favourite bets, or one of the predefined special bets.
You can bet on single numbers or groups of numbers using the many preconfigured ways, some of which are displayed on the betting grid. These are known as inside and outside bets, with the outside bets being less risky and paying less, and the inside bets more challenging to achieve; therefore, paying more when you win.
Of course, you can place combinations of many types of bets, enhancing your enjoyment and chances of winning, but you’ll need a large bankroll to do this!
Just a few seconds before betting time closes, the dealer starts the wheel’s spin at the spot of the last winning number and in the opposite direction of the previous spin.
The camera view switches to overhead where you can see all of the wheel and the ball racing around in the opposite direction.
as the wheel slows the ball decends towards the pockets and starts its bounce between the numbers.
The ball finally settles in a number pocket at which point the cameras switch to the slow motion replay angles so you can watch the final moments of the ball coming to rest in the numbered pocket.
You get three views of the slow motion action.
The result is confirmed once the 10 second slow motion replay has completed.
Everyone with a winning bet receives their payout.
I could ask 100 people, and they’d give me 100 different strategies you could use on Roulette. And you know what? None of them can guarantee you’ll win.
So, I’m not going to pretend I have a winning strategy. But I will give you a strategy to play that will give you the best chance of turning your bankroll over and allowing you to enjoy the game while you do it.
If you end up with a winning balance, you’re one of the lucky ones, so bank it and move on.
It’s pretty simple. I use these rules.
I place a section bet for Straight-up and split number wins, which covers about a third of the beating grid. Then, I decide which is the best by looking at the previous win stats for the sections. I either bet with those or against them, hoping the trend will turn.
I place a bet larger than the total section bet on one of the Outside Bets, usually Odd/Even – I prefer those to Red/Black, but you can do either.
And those are my two bets.
You can do something similar or bet on favourite numbers instead of sections of the wheel. It’s whatever you prefer.
No number is more deserving of winning – you have a 37:1 chance of picking the correct number – long odds, so don’t expect regular Inside bet wins. Your wins will come more often from the Outside bets.
Once you’ve fixed your betting pattern, remember to save it to your favourites so you can recall it the next time you play.
Once you’ve done that, you can use Autoplay to repeat the bet for a specified number of spins.
This allows you to manage your bankroll and sit back and enjoy the visual elements of Immersive Roulette Deluxe.
Pragmatic uses the same interface for all its roulette games, so the Statistics and Results tracker is well thought out and provides all the information you could need.
What’s more, you can use any number you see as a bet spot, giving you an alternative betting method. I particularly like this for deciding on the section bets, although I still use the Racetrack for placing them with one click!
The payouts for Pragmatic Play’s Immersive Roulette follow the standard set for European Roulette.
The top payout you can expect for a Stratight-up win is 35:1, and the minimum payout for one of the Outside bets is 1:1.
The RTP is 97.30%.

It’s difficult not to compare Immersive Roulette Deluxe and Immersive Roulette because the products aim to do the same thing and target the same players.
I had high expectations of Pragmatic’s version, given that Evolution launched its version in 2013, leaving plenty of time for someone else to enhance the original.
But Evolution appears to have set the bar very high, and while the Pragmatics version delivers a good user experience, it’s the little things I’ve become used to that set the original apart.
I would have liked the Studio to be more Immersive, and maybe one or two different camera angles during the game to give a nearly 360-degree view would have been different and added more excitement to the build-up.
It’s a reasonable effort, but I feel the guys could have made this a brilliant rather than just an okay experience.
Try it out, and see what you think!
Immersive Roulette Deluxe is a high-definition streamed game of live dealer roulette by Pragmatic Play. The result is replayed in slow motion, showing the ball landing in the final numbered result pocket.
Pragmatics’ version of Immersive Roulette is not as good as Evolution’s original. The game presentation lets it down.
The RTP is 97.30%.
There are strategies for playing, but none can guarantee you’ll win. I talk more about the playing strategies I use in the main body of the review.
You can play Immersive Roulette Deluxe at all Pragmatic Play Live Casinos. My current favourite is Playojo, which has all of the Pragmatic Live Games.
