ICONIC21 Crash Live Review, Strategy and How to Play

Introduction To Iconic21 Crash Live

Crash Live is an RNG Crash game with a Presenter. It’s not quite the first game of this type because Evolution produced Cash or Crash Live (no RNG) a few years ago, but it is the first familiar-looking Crash game to be launched with a live presenter.

Unlike Avaitor, the original Crash game, which uses a climbing aircraft, Crash Live doesn’t use a visual image. Instead, it opts for a line on a graph climbing up an angled axis.

However, Crash Live has a few unique features, making it an appealing crash game.

In this review, I’ll explain how to play Crash live, demonstrate the game in my video review, and briefly discuss its strategies.

The game pays up to 1000x if you have the balls to go all the way!

What is Crash Live & How Do You Play – A brief Summary

Crash Live is an RNG-based Crash game from Iconic21, the Romanian Live Casino provider. It’s a bit of a departure from their usual games, as it’s not live.

The live element comes from the presenter, who’s employed to provide commentary on what would be a rather dull game to watch.

Your objective is to place a bet and then watch as a line on a graph climbs up an axis while a multiplier number (the payout) increases. Your objective is to Cash out before the line crashes. You take home the amount you cash out for or lose your bet.

The game is managed by a live presenter whose job is to keep you entertained with witty chat and to acknowledge the big winners in the game.

A leaderboard behind the presenter displays the names of the ten big winners and the multipliers they cashed out for, while at the bottom of the screen, the history shows the crash values of the multipliers for each game.

The playing interface has two betting positions, and you can set Auto cashout amounts for each bet. Autoplay allows you to repeat the bet for as long as you like, and it will continue until you cancel it or you run out of money!

Placing Your Bet

Betting time is about 4 seconds, but you can bet on the bet spot while the previous game runs.

Just select your chip value and click on the bet spot.

There’s two bet spots so bet on one, either or both!.

You can set an Auto Cash-out limit, which I’d advise if you’re trying to make some money.

Setting the Autoplay will make a bet every game round until you stop, so it’s best to be present when using it.

Cashing Out Crash Live

Once the game starts, the multiplier climbs, and you see a green cash-out value increase on the bet spot.

If you want to withdraw the money, press the Cashout option, and you’re done.

The game continues until the multiplier crashes.

Note: You’ll not see the Cash Amount recorded anywhere until the game round is completed, at which point your balance will increase accordingly.

Crash Live Results History

In the bottom left of the screen, you’ll see the last sixteen game round multiplier values when the game crashed.

This is useful information so you get a feel of the possible multiplier values and can help you with your Cashout decisions.

Strategy

Crash Live takes advantage of greedy players. You’ll quickly find yourself broke if you’re greedy and chase the big payouts.

To play this game and give yourself a chance at the bigger payout requires a strategy.

This game is pure luck. There are no patterns to predict, so it’s a matter of luck if you hit a big multiplier.

But there’s a way to play that will give you a chance to win.

I have two strategies I use in Crash games.

  1. The first is a Profit Builder – a slow profit build.
  2. The second strategy relies on two bets—the first, where you take a profit, and the second, where you gamble that profit on getting bigger wins.

Let me describe them both for you.

Slow Build-for-Profit Strategy

This strategy requires you to set an auto Cash-out limit. It doesn’t want to be high—you want it to make you a profit on your bet and always win, so something around 1x will do that.

Place your bet and let the Auto Cash Out build your profit. Repeat this for as long as you want.

Your bankroll will slowly increase by taking a small profit each game. Place a bigger bet to get a bigger profit, and don’t get tempted to raise the cashout level. Remember that this is a slow buildup and will take a while even to reach double your stake. This strategy is not for players who want a quick profit.

Big Win Strategy

This strategy is flawed because you don’t know when a big multiplier will occur, but it gives you a license to try because your bet is already covered – so you lose nothing from trying.

The strategy works because we place two bets—you can do them separately or together, depending on how quickly you want to play. The first bet is about making a profit, and the second bet is about using that profit to be more aggressive in hunting out the bigger multipliers.

Always use this strategy as a two-step process.

Bet 1 takes a profit, let’s say 1x. Then, bet 2 uses the profit for the next bet, and you delay cashing out for as long as possible.

If you bust out, it doesn’t matter as you used a “Free Bet”.

This strategy only works and will maintain your bankroll if you’re conservative with your first bet. You must cash it out for a small profit before progressing to step two.

How ICONIC21 Crash Live Compares

Crash Live isn’t the first Crash Game in live dealer, but it’s the first of its type—in terms of appearance, it looks the same as other RNG Crash Games.

The only other RNG Crash game that doesn’t perform similarly is Stock Market Live by Evolution, which has a trade period where you decide if the value will rise or fall. At the end of the period, you make a win or loss. The variance is 100% of your bet, unlike Crash Live, where it’s possible to win 1000x!

Cash Or Crash Live, also by Evolution, is an actual live crash game, but its format differs. When yellow balls are drawn from a bingo-style machine, you climb a multiplier ladder until you crash when a red ball is drawn. It’s a much slower game than Crash Live, but it is live rather than RNG.

Crash Live mirrors games like Avaitor, the original crash game, but has a live presenter and a leaderboard so you can see how other players are doing.

There’s no direct comparison, as Iconic21 is the first to put a live presenter in front of an RNG Crash game, and as games go, it’s OK.

Return To Player (RTP) – Expected Returns

Crash Live has an RTP of 96%, less than live roulette’s 97.30% and Baccarat’s 98.94%.

Stock Market Live has an RTP of 99%, while Cash or Crash comes in at 99.59%.

On paper Crash Live looks the worse – but if you use my strategy you’ll get a better return.

Summary

IConic21 has used some poetic license to describe Crash Live as a Live Game.

The game is actually RNG.

A Presenter and a chat facility add the live element, which allows players to chat with the presenter and each other in real-time.

However, this is the first crash game presented in this way, which makes it unique at the moment.

I don’t play Crash Games as a rule. They don’t appeal to me and seem to entice the greedy gambler. What’s nice is you can see what’s going to happen. You don’t know when the crash will occur.

5x game payouts are generally a good thing to take, and on live games, winning even money is a feat. So, I think players playing these games should set their expectations accordingly, especially when the published RTP is 96.00%.

However, I digress. The game is presented well, and the leaderboard gives players the chance to have their names up in lights if they have the balls to stay with the climb and cash out before it crashes. My hat goes off to the presenters who try their hardest to keep discussions going on what is a simple game with only two possible outcomes—win or lose.

As for the game itself, there are improvements needed.

Wins are not celebrated in a visual sense. If you’ve cashed out, the win amount isn’t displayed, and you’ve got no sense you’ve beaten the game. Perhaps that’s deliberate, but it left me feeling down rather than happy I’d won.

The auto-play is a great feature, but once it’s on, it’s on. There is no way to set it for a certain number of game rounds, so it keeps going until you stop it or run out of money. I wouldn’t use Autoplay for that reason and will probably hit the bottom line as more players take this approach.

Another suggestion is to have an object climb the slope rather than just being a line going left to right. It would be more visually appealing.
