Lucky 6 Roulette by Pragmatic is a multiplier game of roulette, where six random numbers receive multipliers of between 50x and 2088x each game round.
Only straight-up number bets qualify for winning with multipliers. As a result, the base payout for the Stratight-up number bets has been reduced to 19:1.
All other bets and payouts remain the same as in standard European roulette.
Lucky 6 Roulette is an evolved version of Mega Roulette, with more and bigger multipliers.
In this review, I’ll explain how to play, point out a few novel things in the playing interface and cover some Lucky 6 Betting Strategies. As usual, you can watch my Video Review, where I demonstrate how to play and tell you what I think about this new Live Dealer roulette game from Pragmatic Play.

Lucky 6 Roulette is a game of live dealer roulette where the paytable has been modified to have six straight-up numbers pay between 50x and 2088x each game round. The remaining straight-up numbers pay 19:1 (instead of the usual 35:1), and the rest of the bets conform to the standard European roulette paytable.
The game uses a manual roulette wheel, which the dealer spins as betting time closes.
Lucky 6 Roulette is played like any other game of roulette. Remember that only Straight-Up bets qualify for multiplier payouts. If you’ve bet on part of a straight-up number with a multiplier, you’ll receive the default payout for that bet type rather than part of the multiplier value.
The game starts with betting time, in which you place your bets on the tables betting grid:
You can place bets:
Betting Time lasts 17 seconds.
There is also a Bet Builder facility where you can create your favourite betting patterns offline and select them when ready to place the bet for real.
As betting time closes the dealer spins the wheel and flicks the ball in the opposite direction.
While the wheel spins, six Lucky Numbers are selected and displayed behind the wheel; below each is a spinning wheel containing multiplier values. These spin and stop, revealing the multiplier for each number.
The multipliers range from between 50x to 2088x.
The game round ends when the ball drops into one of the numbered pockets. This is compared with the bets you’ve made, and if you have a bet covering the number, you’ll win that payout associated with the bet type you’ve made. If you had a Straight-up number win and the number contained a multiplier, you’d receive a payout equal to your stake multiplied by the multiplier.
The whole point of Roulette is to place bets on the numbered pocket you think the ball will land in.
You can place bets on individual numbers, which is the highest-risk bet, as there are 37 numbered pockets the ball could land in.
The most straightforward bets cover at least half of the wheel with one bet, such as Odd/Even and Red/Black. These bets have a 48% chance of winning.
You’ll hear people refer to bets as being Inside or Outside Bets.
The inside bets are more complex to win, so they have a higher payout. The hardest is the straight-up bet, where one chip covers one number. This bet qualifies for the multiplier.
Then, some bets cover more than one number or a range of numbers, such as the split bet, a line bet, a corner bet, and a street bet.
Outside bets cover more numbers with a single bet, like Red/Black, Odd/Even, Column/Dozen, High and Low. They return less but have more chance of winning.
Bet | Details | Payout |
---|---|---|
Inside Bets | ||
Straight-Up | Covers 1 number | 19-1999:1 |
Split | Covers 2 adjacent numbers | 17:1 |
Street | Covers 3 numbers in a line | 11:1 |
Corner | Cover 4 numbers where they all meet | 8:1 |
Line | Covers 6 numbers (2 Streets) | 5:1 |
Outside Bets | ||
Dozen/Column | Covers 12 numbers | 2:1 |
Red/Black | Covers 18 Numbers each | 1:1 |
Odd/Even | Covers 18 Numbers each | 1:1 |
Low (1-18)/HIgh (19-36) | Covers 18 numbers | 1:1 |
Neighbour bets allow you to bet on a number and its neighbours. You can select how many neighbours to include – The Maximum is nine, covering eighteen numbers or half of the roulette wheel.
Section bets cover potions of the wheel. Use the Racetrack to place them. The sections have French names, Tiers, Voisins, Orphelins and Zero. They are also known as the French Bets.
Within the playing interface, Pragmatic Play has created some Special Bets designed exclusively for placing Stratight-Up Bets on more than one number on the betting grid.
Pragmatic Lucky 6 Roulette comes with loads of statistical data from previous spins.
Data for up to the last 500 spins can be displayed. It is broken down as follows.
The previous 27 results and the hot and cold numbers are displayed at the bottom of the playing interface.
You can place bets by clicking on any of the displayed statistics.
The more I play Roulette with multipliers, the less I believe there is a strategy for winning or at least getting the multipliers.
The only surefire way to get a multiplier when it happens and when it wins is to have a bet on every number on the roulette wheel.
However, this is a losing strategy over the short term because every time you play, you’re betting 37 units, with a return of 19 unless you get a multiplier.
So, every game round, you are losing 18 units. It doesn’t take a genius to realise that with an RTP of 97.49%, you’ll lose your bank roll pretty quickly.
If you’re thinking of playing this game to get multiplier wins, I advise you to play your usual game and betting strategy.
For me, that’s Section Bets, but I convert them to straight-up bets and add a few Outside Bets for good measure.
I never bet more than I can win. I hope that I win more often than I lose and keep my fingers crossed that I’ll pick up the odd multiplier and hope beyond hope it’s more than 1000x!
Autoplay lets you play up to 100 game rounds automatically using the same bet each time.
To use Autoplay, set your bet up and place it on the betting grid. Then select Auto Play.
Choose the number of game rounds and set three stop parameters for Win and Loss Levels, which will stop the Auto Play when they are hit.
AutoPlay is great for helping you manage your bankroll. Still, the one warning I’d make is it plays every game round, so you could be betting more often than you usually would and, therefore, your playtime will be shorter, assuming you lose your bankroll.
Lucky 6 Roulette is a more volatile version of Mega Roulette, meaning you’ll get more multipliers and bigger wins, but they come at a cost.
The cost is the reduced Straight-Up bet payout. Mega Roulette has a base payout of 29:1, while Lucky 6 pays 19:1.
Mega Roulette has up to five random multipliers between 50x and 500x, while Lucky 6 Roulette has six multipliers every game round, with payouts between 50x and 2088x!
Lucky 6 Roulette uses a manually controlled Roulette wheel, while Mega Roulette uses an Auto Roulette wheel.
Both games have similar spin-to-spin times.
Play Lucky 6 Roulette if you want the thrill of bigger wins. Mega Roulette delivers not-so-big wins, but you’ll probably keep your bankroll longer.

Pragmatic Lucky 6 Roulette is a nicely presented game which offers a more volatile playing experience than its other multiplier roulette games.
I didn’t think there was room for another multiplier roulette, as Mega Roulette and Power Up Roulette are great examples of this genre of games.
Perhaps Pragmatic wanted a more volatile game with bigger multipliers to compete with Playtech, Stakelogic and Evolution, which already have games delivering multipliers over 2000x.
The playing interface is excellent and has some great tools for the player. I’m delighted to see the bet builder function and pre-configured special bets for Straight-up betting.
I’d like to have seen the same for the section bets, but I guess you can create them yourself using the bet builder and Favourite bet functionality.
I think this game fits nicely in Pragmatics live game portfolio, giving players the opportunity for bigger wins.
Lucky 6 Roulette is a live dealer roulette game that gives six numbers payout multipliers of between 50x and 2088x per game round.
The maximum multiplier is 2088x on Lucky 6 Roulette.
Lucky 6 Roulette is in the same family as Xxxtreme Lightning Roulette, Super Stake Roulette and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, which are multiplier roulette games with payouts over 2000x. Lucky Six is not better; it is just a bit different.
The RTP of Pragmatic Play Lucky 6 Roulette is 97.49%.
No strategy will guarantee a win, but there are approaches to the game you should factor in when you play that may help manage your bankroll and give you a chance of a multiplier win.
You can play Lucky 6 Roulette at all Pragmatic Play Live Casinos.
