Put simply, Super Boost Blackjack is a game of live dealer seven-seat blackjack played according to Vegas Rules, with the addition of a compulsory side bet—the Super Boost.
The Super Boost costs you 25% of your main bet. If you get two wins in a row, the payout for the next hand is increased by 2x to 100x, which you get if you win this third hand. Lose any hand, and the Super Boost counter gets reset to zero.
The game also offers the more traditional side bets of Golden Plairs and 3 (Rummy Side Bet), both of which are optional.
In this review, I’ll explain how to play, whether there are any strategies you can use, and what I think of this new variant of the game of Blackjack.

Super Boost Blackjack is marketed as a VIP game by Stakelogic, meaning you won’t find low stakes on this table.
The essence of the Super Boost is rewarding players who get three wins in a row with a multiplier payout of between 2x and 100x.
The difficult part, of course, is getting three wins in a row, and if you’ve ever played blackjack, you’ll know that doesn’t happen often!
So, in this game, you’re balancing the maintenance of your bankroll while trying to get the big multiplier hit.
This is a standard game of Vegas Rule Blackjack, in which you aim to beat the dealer by getting a higher-value hand up to twenty-one or the dealer going bust while you have a hand in play.
The game starts with Betting Time. You place a bet on the Bet Spot and 25% of the value is added to the Super Boost spot. Your bet is now 125% of what you originally placed.
You can place bets on the two optional side bets – Golden Pairs and 3.
Betting time closes and the dealer begins the deal.
The dealer gives each player two cards, face up and takes two for himself, with one facing down.
Each player, in turn, is invited to:
If the player goes over a hand value of twenty-one, that’s a bust, and he loses.
Once all players have completed their hands, the dealer plays his hand. He can only take cards until he has seventeen or more in his hand, at which point he must stop.
His hand is then compared to the players, and those beating him will receive a payout.
Players on a third consecutive win get a multiplier payout on their hands.
Those with the same value get their stake returned minus the Super Boost stake.
Those that lose lose their stake money.
The Golden pairs side bet uses the player’s first two cards. If they form a pair, you win!
The possible payout combinations are:
Hand | Usual Payout | Explanation |
---|---|---|
Golden Pair | 25:1 | Pair in the same suit |
Coloured Pair | 12:1 | Pair in the same colour |
Mixed Pair | 6:1 | A mixed coloured Pair Red/Black |
The 3 Side bet is the same as the 21+3 or Poker side bet you see elsewhere. It uses the player’s two cards and the dealer’s up card.
The possible payout combinations are:
Hand | Usual Payout | Explanation |
---|---|---|
Suited three-of-a-kind | 100:1 | Three of the same cards in the same suit. |
Straight Flush | 40:1 | Consecutive cards in the same suit. |
Three -of-a-kind | 30:1 | Three of the same card. |
Straight | 10:1 | A run of consecutive Cards. |
Flush | 5:1 | Three cards of the same suit. |
The base RTP For Super Boost Blackjack is 99.45%, but that’s before the Super Boost payment is applied.
The 25% compulsory fee on the main bet for the Super Boost reduces the overall RTP for the game.
Since the 25% fee is added rather than deducted, you effectively wager £1.25 for each £1 bet placed in the game.
However, the RTP of 99.45% applies only to the main £1 bet, not the additional £0.25 fee.
This means that, on average, you still receive £0.9945 back per £1 bet, but you’re now paying $1.25 for each round.
The effective RTP, considering the added fee, can be calculated as the expected return (£0.9945 per £1) divided by the total cost per round (£1.25).
Effective RTP = 0.9945 divided by 1.25 ≈ 79.56%
So, with the added fee, the effective RTP drops to 79.56%.
The 19.89% drop needs to be made up from the multiplier wins, which is what you’d expect the game to do in the long term.
As the super Boost only pays on three consecutive wins, it’s helpful to understand how often, on average, these occur during a game of blackjack.
Blackjack can be a very streaky game, and you’ll often go for periods when you can’t win a hand. You rely on being able to Double and split hands against a dealer’s weak-up card to get your bankroll back. When you get some wins on top of that, you start making a profit.
However, in Super Boost, your wins are more important. Three in a row gives you multiplier payouts. So, how long do you have to wait for that to happen?
Well, here’s some maths that may help.
The probability of winning a single hand in blackjack is around 42% (or 0.42), on average, assuming you’re using basic strategy and doubling, and splitting as required.
To find the probability of winning three hands in a row, you would raise the probability of winning one hand to the power of 3. That is:
P(win 3 in a row) = (P(win 1 hand)) cubed
Using the average win rate of 42% (or 0.42):
P(win 3 in a row) = (0.42)cubed =0.074
The probability of winning three consecutive hands is approximately 7.4%. This means that, on average, you would win three hands in a row about 7.4% of the time, or about 1 in every 13.5 attempts.
We’ve established that, on average, it takes 13.5 attempts to get 3 in a row wins. So we’re racking up losses of 25% of our main bet every game until the 3rd consecutive win occurs when we get the multiplier payouts.
So we can calculate the minimum Multiplier needed to recoup the fees we’ve paid to that point.
We’ll use a fee of £0.25 as an example.
Let M be the required multiplier on the third win. The payout from the third win would be:
Payout=M×1
To break even on the fees alone, this payout must cover the total fees of £3.375.
If the main bet is £1, the multiplier must be 3.375x to recoup the previous losses.
Note: These are calculated using averages and may not represent what happens on the table when you’re playing.
The Super boost multiplier can be paid on the third successive winning hand.
If the third-hand results in a push, a new multiplier is allocated for the following hand.
If you win the third hand and go onto a fourth hand, that hand does not benefit from a multiplier. You must have two winning hands in a row before the next hand is given a boosted payout.
If you Double a hand, the Super Boost bet is not Doubled.
If you split a hand, the super boost bet will not be increased.
There is only one strategy to use when playing Blackjack: Basic Strategy. Just follow the guidance on the table, and you’ll be playing optimally. Use it even when you don’t want to, as you’ll be surprised at how often you hit a 4 or 5 when you have sixteen.
As for the Super Boost, you’re committed to playing this bet whether you like it or not.
The payback is when you get three consecutive wins, and we know that, on average, that happens in about 13.5 hands.
So, for the most part, you’ll lose the Super Boost Bet, and you have to hope the multipliers are more than 4x to recoup your lost fees. More than that, you’ll be in profit.
The main hand profits are determined by your hand’s wins and losses.
Treat the Super Boost like a side bet, and you’ll be all right.
The only thing you have to worry about is having enough bankroll to cover the losses of the Super Boost bet.
The other part of the strategy is to avoid playing the other side bets. They are not good for your bankroll, but they can be fun to play!
Stakelogic has released two Blackjack games with multipliers. The first was Super Stake Blackjack, and the second was Super Boost Blackjack. Each offers something different.
The fee is reduced on Super Boost, and the maximum multiplier is increased by 100x.
The multipliers do not impact the main hand until three consecutive wins have occurred in Super Boost. Thus, you’ll be playing for longer without getting a multiplier win.
The RTP is better, but when you add the Super boost, it drops to a staggering 79.56%.
Of the two games, I think Super Boost is better.
When I first saw StakeLogic Super Boost Blackjack before I even played it, I’d already decided I wouldn’t like it.
I make no secret that I don’t like games where you have to pay a fee to access the main functionality. I prefer a reduced RTP or paytable to compensate. That way, you know what you’re in for and how to manage your bankroll.
But after analysing and playing the game, I’ve revised my initial view, and I’d be happy to play it for a limited time.
The hook for this game is the multiplier playout for a third win in a row. You don’t know until you get there whether it will be 2x or something nearing the max of 100x.
Getting there, though, is a feat in itself. You’re down an extra 25% of your stake for every losing hand, so recouping that becomes a critical element of your bankroll management.
On average, it takes 13.5 hands to win three in a row. In my experience, it’s more, but that may be because the average works against me.
I was surprised when I calculated that to recoup my fee losses over 13.5 hands, it would only take a 4x multiplier. Then I thought, “I must have my maths wrong, as that sounds too low.”
The game is nicely presented, and the reduction of optional side bets keeps the focus on the mandatory Super Boost. As it’s aimed at VIPs, you need a large bankroll for this game, so the minimum stakes per hand are £20 + £5 Super Boost Fee.
This will be more popular than Super Stake Blackjack but not as popular as regular Blackjack.
Experienced players know that to get the best return from Blackjack, you stay away from the sucker Side bets. This game makes you play one, so you already know who the sucker is!
Super Boost Blackjack is a variant with a multiplier payout between 2x and 100x when a third win in a row occurs.
You play it the same as any other game of blackjack. The only difference is a mandatory Supper Boost side bet of 25% of your main bet.
Yes, you should use the Basic Blackjack strategy to play this version of the game; it will maximise your returns.
The base RTP is 99.45%. Adjusted for the Super Boost, it is 79.56%.
You can play Super Boost Blackjack at casinos that have Stakelogic games. Both Unibet and Playojo are good choices.
