Evolution Gaming Coronavirus Statement

A statement released by Evolution Gaming today clarifies the precautions the company is taking in light of the challenges faced by the Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak.

In summary, daily operations have been conducted without any large disturbances, while the demand for their Live Casino products continues to be strong.

Additional precautionary measures in all the studios include:

• disinfection,
• distancing and separation of employees,
• temperature checks at studio entrances,
• increased cleaning,
• hand hygiene,
• other infection prevention activities,
• employees that are not part of the daily studio operations work from home where possible.

Evolution operate from 8 studio locations and therefore have an inbuilt level of resilience that gives them the ability to adjust Studio capacity dependant on localised restrictions.

They are generally seeing a continued strong demand for their live casino game products and note that many players are opting to play casino games in the absence of sports betting opportunities.

Comment:

Evolution is one a a few live casino operators that I expect will manage to keep their operations open longer than the majority of operators. The 8 studio locations around the world adds a level of resilinec and capacity that the smaller operators just don’t have.

They of course will have challenges, especially where licensing agreements require them to have an operational studio within the same country that they are offerring their games to.
