Stakelogic Runner Runner Roulette Live Review, Strategy and How to Play

Introduction & Background to Stakelogic Runner Runner Roulette

Runner Runner Roulette is Stakelogic's second multiplier roulette game, following the successful Super Stake Roulette.

Like Super Stake Roulette, there are two parts to Runner Runner Roulette. The first is winning multipliers on Straight-up bets up to 500x, and the second is a bonus round where it's possible to win up to 5000x.

It looks like inspiration has been taken from Lightning Roulette and the bonus round Cash Hunt from Crazy Time. Runner Runner is a combination of the two.

The game first launched in the Netherlands and has now been extended to all markets. The presenters speak Dutch, but it's easy to follow the game regardless of the language.

In this review, I'll explain how to play, demonstrate some play in my video review and discuss strategies that may help you enjoy the game. I'll also compare Runner Runner Roulette with the other multiplier games to see how it fairs.

Overview of Runner Runner Roulette

Runner Runner Roulette is a multiplier game with an additional bonus round that can pay up to 5000x.

Up to five multipliers are available on Straight-up bets, with a value between 50x and 500x. The standard payout for a Straight-up bet is 29:1.

The bonus round is triggered when a number with a star symbol is landed on.

The game moves into bonus round mode, where a grid covered in symbols hides 100 random multipliers. Following a shuffle, players pick one of the symbols and wait to see the value of the multiplier revealed. The maximum possible win on the wall is 5000x!

Only Straight-up bets quality for the multipliers and bonus rounds.

The game has an RTP of 97.30%.

How To Play Runner Runner Roulette

The game round starts with 20 seconds of betting time, during which the Hot and Cold numbers are displayed on the screen behind the game presenter.

You place your chips on the betting grid, either directly or by using the Race Track, a previous favourite bet, one of the pre-configured special bets or using the Straight-up bet option to place the bets on Outside betting combinations.

Once the bets are confirmed, the screen behind the dealer shows the numbers picked for the multipliers and their value.

The Multipliers

The multipliers can be 50x up to 500x in value or displayed as a Star, which is the method for entering the Bonus Round.

The Auto Roulette wheel starts to spin while the ball is fired into the wheel using compressed air. The rotation of the wheel is reversed for each new game.

As the wheel slows, the ball drops into one of the numbered pockets on the wheel.

Players who have bet on that number win the payout value of each 29:1 or the value of the multiplier if it had one.

When the winning number contains a Star, the Runner Runner Bonus round is initiated for those players with a winning bet.

Multipliers are Chosen

Runner Runner Roulette

Up To five multipliers and or Star symbols are chosen each game round.

The multipliers range in value between 50x and 500x.

The Star symbols give access to the bonus round.

The Result

Runner Runner Roulette

An Auto roulette wheel is used for this game, so the presenter plays no active role in spinning the wheel.

The wheel is spun in the opposite direction of the previous spin.

The pocket where the ball stops is the winning number. If the number was a multiplier, players get paid the value of the multiplier, and if the result was a star symbol, all players with an active bet participate in the bonus round.

The Runner Runner Bonus Round

The bonus round starts by displaying a grid of 100 fruit symbols.

The presenter reveals the multipliers behind the symbols, ranking in value between 50x and 5000x!

The symbols are redisplayed and then scrambled before you're given the option to "Pick" one of the symbols.

Your choice is locked in, and your multiplier prize is revealed after a few seconds.

If you fail to choose, the game makes it for you.

Odds, Payouts & RTPs

The Straight-Up bet payout of 29:1 is less than you'd get on a standard game of European Roulette, which pays 35:1.

All other bet types are the same - see the payout table for details.

The Runner Runner Bonus Round pays between 50x and 5000x!

The RTP for Runner Runner Roulette is also the same as European Roulette, as the only difference between the games is the payout structure and the multipliers.

The game returns an RTP of 97.30%.

Strategies To Win on Runner Runner Roulette

There are two elements to Runner Runner Roulette:

  1. The multiplier phase - where you pick the numbers you hope will get multipliers
  2. In the bonus round stage, you face a wall of 100 symbols hiding multipliers and must choose one to be your prize.

Both phases require some decisions to play them, so let's go through each and discuss the options.

The Multipliers Strategy

There are up to five multipliers for a game round. The more multipliers, the better the chance you have of getting one. With five, you have a 13.5% chance, four, there is a 10.8% chance. When there are three, there is an 8.10% chance; when there are two, there is a 5.4% chance; and when there is one, a 2.7% chance, you can increase the likelihood by making more bets and covering more of the numbers on the board.

Of course, you don't know the number of multipliers, so one strategy would involve covering every number with a chip. This strategy will only work if you get a multiplier win in a relatively quick time. The average number of spins for that to happen is about 25, and the multiplier needs to be in the 100s to make it worthwhile. Anything less won't recover the losses.

My preferred method is to cover approximately a third to half of the numbers and a section of the wheel while doing it. You're banking on the ball landing in a particular part of the wheel - so you have a 3 in 1 or 50% chance of the happening. You don't know how many multipliers, if any, will be among those numbers. Your bankroll will last much longer, and if you don't get multipliers, you may get wins that still keep you in profit.

Runner Runner Bonus Round Strategy

The bonus round is about picking the biggest multiplier from 100 hidden on a wall behind fruit machine symbols.

Both the symbols and multipliers are randomised before you pick. So you're picking blind - or put it another way, guessing.

So is there a strategy for guessing? Of course not - a guess is a guess!

The playing interface will do it for you if you don't pick a symbol. It's meant to be random - I believe it is, but remember, the RNG engine is used to make sure the game delivers to its RTP, so there is a chance that it will decide the value of the multiplier you'll get depending o how the game has been playing - it could be high or low!

If you're picking a symbol, go with whatever you feel will be lucky for you.

Do it by symbol type or location on the wall.

Some people will use their lucky number to count the rows across and down. They pick the symbol where the two intersect.

Personally I just go random - it works most of the time!

Runner Runner Roulette Statistics & Result Tracking

Runner Runner Roulette Statistics

If you like statistics and results information, you'll love what Runner Runner Roulette offers.

A comprehensive set of statistical data is compiled from the last 500 spins. You can use a smaller subset of the data when viewing current trends.

The data is split into three views:

  1. Disperments of results are viewed on the wheel as Hot and Cold numbers.
  2. Statistical information for the Outside Bets and Section bets.
  3. The last 500 results - with the pocket number and, if active, the Multiplier.

Tips For Beginners

Here are six tips for playing Runner Runner Roulette.

  1. If you're after the multipliers, I advise covering a maximum of between 33% and 50% of the numbers with chips.
  2. Don't bet more than you'll get back if you win.
  3. Try placing some Outside bets with a higher chance of winning to offset the losses you may incur by playing straight-up bets.
  4. Don't worry about losing many spins on straight-up bets. You should make up the losses with one or two good wins.
  5. Don't expect the bonus round to pay more than the 500x you'd get on a straight-up bet that often. The max of 5000x will occur once every six months!
  6. Enjoy the game for what it is, don't think you can win and don't think you'll return a profit. Most players don't!

How Runner Runner Roulette Compares with Other Multiplier Roulette Games

In one breath, Runner Runner roulette is the same as other multiplier roulettes and completely different.

It's the same as it offers up to five multipliers in the base game, with a value between 50x and 500x. This compares with Lightning Roulette, Mega Roulette and Quantum Roulette. The straight-up bets also pay the same, at 29:1.

The difference is the "extra" bonus round, which is triggered when the ball lands in the pocket of a number allocated with a star. This bonus round has the potential to pay up to 5000x when the player picks from 100 hidden multipliers on a Bonus wall of symbols.

We see similar concepts of bonus rounds in Stakelogics, Super Stake Roulette and Pragmatic Plays Power Up Roulette.

The presentation of Runner Runner Roulette is very different, with the neon lights and noisy studio being a long way from the calm studios the other providers have built.

Games like Nexus Roulette, Ultimate Roulette, Jet Set Racing Roulette, and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette all offer something unique that Runner Runner doesn't, so it might be worth checking them out if you want something a little edgier.

Video Review of Runner Runner Roulette Live

Summary

The first thing you notice about Runner Runner Roulette is how different the studio looks. It's not the most spacious, but it more than makes up for it, with the presence of all the lights giving it a glitzy feel.

This theme is carried through to the presenters wearing gold jackets and dresses.

It reminds me of the disco scenes from Saturday Night Fever, where John Travolta, aka Tony Manero, struts his stuff on the disco floor.

The game is good - I like it has a bonus round where the bigger multipliers can be won. It adds something to the game that differs from the usual multiplier roulette games.

I'd go so far as to say it's better.

Runner Runner Roulette ticks all the boxes. The dutch presenters are energic and fun to play with, even though I have no idea what they are saying!

This game will be more popular than Super Stake Roulette as you don't have to pay a fee to play for the bigger wins!

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette by Playtech uses Fire Numbers to qualify for the bonus round. The maximum payout possible is 10,000x. This game also allows all inside bets to qualify for the bonus rounds, giving more flexibility for your wagers.
