Best Live Roulette Casinos and Best Roulette Games to Play

Introduction To The Best Live Roulette Games
I love live roulette because it offers the realism that the alternative, the RNG (Random Number Generator) game, doesn’t.
When you see an actual roulette wheel and a real-life dealer streamed directly to your PC or mobile, it’s the closest feeling you’ll get to playing at a real roulette table.
Live roulette offers an authentic casino feel.
On this page, I'll cover two important topics in detail: the best casinos where you can play live roulette and the best live roulette games.
It isn't as straightforward as you might think. You need a certain degree of knowledge to make an informed decision.
You need a casino with multiple live roulette providers as you want to play the best games across the board, not just by one provider.
Roulette games have evolved recently, and there are numerous specific games you may want to target, such as one of the multiplier roulette games that has recently come onto the scene. You might also want the lowest house edge, high roller roulette, or even a private table!
On this page, I'll explain everything you need to know.
Let's start with the best live roulette casinos if you already know what you're looking for.
Live Roulette Software Providers
You’d think Roulette would be the same everywhere, and generally, that is the case.
However, each live casino provider has its way of presenting the games. They have different variations and options in the playing interfaces you may find helpful.
So here’s a quick rundown of what you can find.

Evolution Roulette
Evolution has the largest selection of standard and innovative roulette games, with the best studios and streaming quality.
European and American Roulette underline the standard offerings. Multiplier roulette games like Lightning Roulette and Gold Vault Roulette are available. Variations include Double Ball, Auto Roulette, Speed Roulette, and Red Door Roulette.
La Partage is an option on the French Roulette Gold tables.
The playing interface is standard across all the tables, offering betting through the traditional grid and racetrack.
Bets can be saved as favourites and used across all of the tables.
Native language tables are popular, and you’ll find these as an option at some of the casinos recommended here.

Playtech Roulette
Playtech also has many Live Roulette options, with far more themed tables.
Speed, Prestige, and Auto Roulette deliver the standard Roulette differently.
Quantum Roulette and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette Live provide Roulette with multipliers, while Age of Gods Bonus Roulette has a bonus and Progressive Jackpot.
Spread Bet Roulette has other betting options from the norm, as does Spin & Win Roulette. La Partage is also available on the French Tables. Native language tables are plentiful.
I think Playtech has the best playing interface and two great options. One is Bet Builder, which allows you to create your bets before placing them. They can be saved as favourites and used on other tables. The Lucky Dip allows you to bet on Straight-Up numbers without picking the numbers yourself.

Authentic Gaming Roulette
Authentic Gaming is known for its land-based streamed roulette tables.
They stream live European roulette from land-based casinos worldwide, including Italy, Romania, the UK, the USA, and Georgia.
More recently, they have started to stream tables from their dedicated studio in Malta. These tables are themed and offer a more personal playing experience.
XL Roulette is Authentic’s first modified roulette game. This offers multipliers of 50x up to 500x on straight-up bets and is a direct competitor to Lightning Roulette but with multiplier choice options for the players.
As you’d expect, the playing interface is comprehensive, although it lacks some of the features Playtech uses.

Pragmatic Play Roulette
Pragmatic Play has a limited set of tables – choosing instead to offer just European Roulette in Live Dealer and Auto Roulette formats.
Mega Roulette is the multiplier version which stacks up well against Evolutions and Playtechs multiplier roulette options.
The playing interface covers the standard options well, although they have a different approach to displaying the results of the last spins.
It’s a slick product, but not quite in the Evolution / Playtech categories.

Ezugi Roulette
Ezugi also has a limited set of live roulette options, although they do take a live stream from the Portomaso and Oracle Casinos in Malta.
Their studio tables offer European Roulette only, although the playing experience varies depending on the table location.
The Latin tables are the most fun, with their loud and energetic dealers.
Ultimate Roulette is probably Ezugi's most popular table, with its circus theme and multipliers.

Visionary iGaming
Visionary iGaming offers European and American Roulette from its Costa Rican studios.
The streaming quality is poor compared to that of the other suppliers. The games have a very Latin feel and are playable.
Given the choice, I’d play at tables from some of the other suppliers.

Stakelogic Roulette
Stakelogic arrived on the live casino scene in 2021 with a standard European roulette table.
It didn't take them long to produce their first multiplier roulette game, Super Stake Roulette, with its innovative BOnus Wheel, allowing the players to win 5000x. They took the best elements of Lightning Roulette and added something very different. Runner Runner Roulette followed a year later, with an innovative bonus round delivering up to 500x.
The playing interface is sleek and functional.

OnAir Roulette
OnAir Entertainment is another relatively new live casino provider that is also challenging the establishment with new variations of Roulette.
Apart from standard European Roulette and Auto Roulette options, ONAIR has produced Nexus Roulette, a multi-wheel game of roulette where the results of three wheels determine the payouts. This is a multiplier roulette game that uses RNG.
It's novel and completely live!

Winfinity Roulette
Winfinity Roulette oozes class, and lots of technical innovations are not immediately apparent when you play the game.
The results are scanned using optical recognition, resulting in quicker outcome notification to players.
Please keep your eyes open for the operator, as their roulette games are excellent.

ICONIC21 Live Roulette
ICONIC21 Live is based in Romania and has been producing live casino games since 2021.
They initially launched European Roulette, followed shortly after by their multiplier range of games titled "Gravity".
Gravity Roulette is one of the first multiplier games to allow all inside bets to qualify for multipliers, so this sets them apart from Quantum Roulette and Lightning Roulette versions, which only allow Straight-Up bets.
What is the best roulette game?
This is a difficult question, but I'll try to answer it.
In my opinion, the 'best roulette game' must use an actual wheel. Automated RNG games are all good and provide a particular service, but they cannot be compared to real live roulette.
With live dealer roulette, you can play in a physical casino or, conveniently, watch and play on your computer, smartphone or other device.
I prefer the latter as it's the more flexible option. You can play at any time, and you get easy access to the betting grid. There are many tools to help you place your bets, and it's more comfortable than standing in a smoky, busy casino.
If you can enjoy a night out at a prestigious casino, by all means, go for it.
Playing live dealer roulette online also lets you choose from dozens of roulette game types, as detailed below. In contrast, land-based roulette is usually the same game every single time.
If you want the roulette game with the best RTP / lowest house edge, play the even-money bets on French Roulette Gold at PlayOjo casino.
You'll need a high-stakes roulette table if you're a high roller. Likewise, if the bet size is your main concern or you want small stakes to test a strategy, choose one of the low-stakes roulette tables.
Many players prefer the newer multiplier roulette games. Some of the most popular ones are Red Door Roulette and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette.
Some players want to replicate the land-based roulette experience, so play at LeoVegas, where there is a whole range of tables streamed from Land-based casinos.
Roulette streamed from real casino locations.
I'll start with this, as it's a perfect blend of real land-based roulette and the convenience of placing bets online. Some providers, such as Authentic Gaming, offer roulette streamed from real casinos.
While most of the games on this page are played in a studio, some tables are at real, land-based casino locations.
The tables are regular roulette tables, with cameras mounted either in the ceiling or at the end by the wheel, transmitting the images online. Players in the casino use the table as usual, so playing speed is much slower than a table dedicated to online players, as the dealer is involved in accepting the bets, ensuring fair play, spinning the wheel and then dealing with the payouts - all of which take time. Players in the casino are told the table is being streamed online so they can decide if they want to be seen or play at a non-streamed table. Either way, this is the most authentic way of playing roulette online.
For example, you can visit LeoVegas online casino to play Authentic Aspers Live Roulette and place bets on the outcome of an actual roulette wheel physically located at the Aspers casino in London. Or, you can walk into Aspers and place a bet at the same table yourself!
There is no doubt this niche is maturing as we're starting to see tables streamed from prestigious casinos worldwide, including Las Vegas.
Dedicated and Exclusive Roulette tables
The next item on my list is dedicated and exclusive roulette tables, as I constantly mention them as the pinnacle of online roulette play. Or, to be more precise, the sign of a quality casino.
These are tables that the casino tailors to its own needs and that aren't the generic tables other casinos use. For example, you can play at a Unibet-branded roulette table and participate in a roulette tournament.
But, more importantly, a dedicated table is a sign that a casino wants to offer something unique to its customers, and this translates to a good experience across the board, from payment speed to customer service and everything else.
Multiplier Roulette
Recently, multiplier roulette games have taken the live casino scene by storm, with players flocking to play roulette that gives enhanced payouts, primarily for straight-up wins.
Usually, you can get a multiplier of up to 500x, although some games that offer elaborate bonus rounds go up as high as 10,000x.
Read more about them in my Multiplier Roulette article, or pick one of the games below and visit the respective casino where you can play it.

French Roulette
French Roulette with the La Partage Rule has the lowest house edge of any Roulette game. Standard European Roulette has a house edge of 2.70%, while French Roulette has a house edge of 1.35%. The reason is simple: the La Partage rule will return half your stake if you lose when playing the Red/Black, Odd/Even or High/Low bet, and the ball lands in Zero.
French Roulette can use the La partage rule, which gives you half of your stake back if you lose because of the zero, or the En prison rule, which is a bit more complex. It's a less common rule: When you lose because of the zero, your bet is 'imprisoned' for the next round, and the following spin decides if your original bet is won or lost.
You can read more about this in my French Roulette article or choose one of the games listed below.
There are two live French Roulette games, one by Evolution and one by Playtech, and they both use the La partage rule. I prefer the Evolution game.
| Developer | Game | French Rule | RTP | Play At |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evolution | French Gold Roulette | La Partage | 98.65% | PlayOjo |
| Playtech | French Roulette | La Partage | 98.65% | Winz.IO |
Double Ball Roulette and other innovative games
In this section, I want to cover roulette games developed to make roulette more exciting by changing its basic setup.
Double-ball roulette certainly deserves mention, as it was the first roulette game to introduce something different to the basic game—in this case, two balls. The game has turned into a niche game with a dedicated following. I like to think of it as a stepping-stone game that fired the imagination into what roulette could become.
Nexus Roulette, although technically a multiplier roulette, also belongs here. This game uses one central roulette wheel and three other wheels to generate the multiplier payouts for the main wheel.
Undoubtedly, we'll see more innovative roulette games using bonus rounds in the future.
Playtech's Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette uses roulette as a vessel for awarding a progressive jackpot. It's a popular game, again, with a concrete player base.
This niche has room for improvement. When the multiplier roulette genre runs out of steam, and the developers are forced to innovate further, we should start to see a lot of incredible innovations.
Slingshot Roulette and other fast roulette games
Players who don't like live roulette usually don't like it for the same reason: the slow pace of the game.
This matters if you're trying out a strategy and need as many iterations per hour as possible, but you don't need the whole immersive live dealer experience.
But there's a solution which isn't RNG; it's called Auto Roulette.
Auto Roulette tables use compressed air to shoot a ball into an actual wheel, which is operated using a series of computer-controlled motors. This tackles the problem of slow play and offers live dealer roulette at a better pace.
Slingshot Auto Roulette by Evolution is the best-known fast live roulette, though you may stumble upon other solutions. They usually have 'Auto' in the name.
Low-stakes, High-stakes and Private tables
If you want to play high-stakes roulette and prefer to do so online, you'll need a high-stakes roulette table.
Choose a Salon Prive table if you need absolute privacy and want to play independently. You'll even need a large bankroll to open the game.
Low-stakes roulette tables have minimum bets of just 1 pence/cent, but they are hard to find. RNG tables offer lower stakes, but who wants to play RNG?
Check out the casino in the list above; you'll find something to suit your budget.
Native language roulette tables
Finally, some players want to play with a live dealer who speaks their language, and this is the most important thing for them when they're choosing which table to play at.
Mandarin, Italian, German, Russian, and many more languages are available.
If you want to play at a native language table, visit the lobby of your casino of choice and see if they offer a table in your language.
Reviews of Live Roulette Casinos
Below, you'll find a more detailed explanation of the casino's roulette games with some interesting background information.
All of the casinos listed have a great selection of roulette tables. The extras might persuade you to play one casino rather than another.
So there you have my Best Live Roulette recommendations.
The good thing is you'll not have a bad game at any of them, and I'm picky about my choices.
But if you want a more comprehensive selection, you'll find them on the list of live casinos.
More details on the differences between roulette products can be found on my Live Roulette Comparisons page.
