Roulette Max is an innovative live roulette game from NetEnt that uses 4 auto roulette wheels in each game round. The purpose of the extra wheels is to give enhanced betting options and the chance to win a payout of up to 5000x!
There are no fancy multipliers or RNG engines involved in the game, instead, there are additional betting options that can involve the results of all or some of the extra wheels.
Combination Bets, Spread Bets, and the new MAX Bet are now possible which add an additional dimension to the game that if used carefully, can bring added enjoyment when playing Roulette Max online.
Roulette Max is a volatile game, by that I mean wins are likely to be small most of the time. Then every now and then a big win will occur.
The reason is simply that there are more wheels and results involved in every game round – effectively the result needs to line up across the wheels for you to get a win.
If you want to play and get a regular return on your bets then Roulette Max isn’t the game for you.
However, if you like the thrill of a big win and don’t mind lots of losses in between this is definitely a game you should be playing.
The current launch date for Roulette Max is the 1st December 2020.
Roulette Max has 4 Wheels.
The main wheel and three X Wheels.
All of the wheels are Auto Roulette wheels, which mean the dealer is replaced by motors, compressed air, and a computer to get the wheel moving and spin in the ball.
The rest is all down to gravity and physics, meaning no RNG engine is used to determine the results.
Bets are placed on the main wheel only and you’re looking for repeated results across the wheels to get a winning payout.
Only a Straight Up and Inside Bet is paid for the main Wheel win.
All other bets are paid for multiple results being the same across 2 or more of the wheels. The more results that are the same the higher the pay-out is.
Let’s take a look at the betting Grid and the new bets that are available.
Firstly you’ll notice the addition of two new sections on the betting grid:
While these bets are familiar roulette bets they take on a different significance in Roulette Max betting.
These are bets that payout when 2 or more of the same result appears across the 4 wheels.
This pay-out when 2 or more of the same column bets appear across the 4 wheels.
A colour bet is paid out when three or four of the same colour appear across the 4 wheels.
As mentioned before Inside bets are only paid on the Main Wheel result – these pay the standard roulette pay-outs.
Straight Up bets pay on the main wheel and also if they appear as results on the other X Wheels.
Note: the pay-outs for a straight-up bet have been modified. In normal roulette the pay-out is 35:1, in Roulette Max, the pay-out for a single straight up number is 28:1. The straight-up bet differs from the Max Roulette bet as the straight-up requires a specific number to be bet on, while a the Max Roulette bet can be Any number, repeated across the wheels.
That’s why the Straight up max pay-out is 5000:1 for all four wheels having the same result!

Roulette Max is a new Roulette game from NetEnt Live, that uses 4 Auto Roulette Wheels. New betting combinations have been created that can lead to a 5000x payout if the same results appear on all 4 wheels at the same time.
Yes, there are a couple of new bets. The Spread Bet can be placed on the total you think the results of all 4 wheels will make. The MAX Bet pays if any number results are the same on 2 or more wheels – you don’t have to name the number. Combination Bets take into account multiple results across all 4 wheels.
You can win up to 5000:1 if all 4 wheels have the same straight-up result for the number you’ve bet on.
The X Wheels is the term used to describe the three Auto Roulette wheels which are not the main wheel.
The main wheel is used to determine the master result for all of the roulette wheels. If multiple results of the same bet are required across all wheels the result from the main wheel is used.
In general no. Some of the Inside Bets pay the same, but a Straight Up Bet on the main wheel pays 28:1 rather than 35:1.
No RNG or computer is used to determine the result in Roulette Max.
No. Roulette Max doesn’t use RNG generated multipliers. The higher payouts are determined by the results across the 4 wheels. The more of the same results across the wheels, the higher the payout will be.
Roulette Max is a volatile game. You are likely to have lots of losing spins and the occasional win that will pay well. The game suits players that like the thrill and chance of a big win.
Roulette Max is available at all NetEnt Live Casinos.
The official launch date for Roulette Max is currently 1st December 2020.
The general game RTP has been calculated at 97.05%, which is not as good as the general RTP for Roulette which is 97.30%.
However, depending on the bet you’re making the RTP can range from as little as 91.14% for the Spread Bet 18-36 bet, to 97.41% for the Column Bet.
Check the payout table above which list all of the payouts and RTP’s for each bet type.
Roulette Max is like Double Ball Roulette on steroids!
There isn’t just one wheel with 2 balls, there are 4 wheels with 4 balls.
There are extra bets you can make over and above normal roulette bets.
There’s also the chance to get a 5000:1 payout!.
What I find refreshing about Roulette Max is there is no RNG engine being used. It’s still a live game. The results are live, the spins are live and the wheels are real, albeit, the Auto variety.
I like the thinking that has gone into this game, incorporating the results across 2 to 4 wheels to give different bet options.
I think the game suits an experienced player more than a beginner, just because you need to understand how the payouts vary from normal roulette and therefore which bets are riskier to take than others.
The wheels are nicely displayed and the presenter does a good job in keeping the excitement going – even when there is none to be had :-)
Roulette Max is a good option if you’re tired of Roulette with multipliers, like Lightning Roulette & Quantum Roulette, but want to try something a bit different.
I’m sure it will do well – quite honestly I think Netent needs this game, if for nothing else to show they can keep in step with the other live casino suppliers.
If you big payouts from multipliers there is a range of Roulette games from other suppliers that you could try.
