Choosing Your Cards and Placing Your Bets

The game round starts with selecting the bingo and bonus cards you want to play.

There's an option to select all the cards with the press of a button. All cards receive the bet value you selected to play.

You can "Top-Up" the bet amount for individual cards by clicking on the card.

The Lucky Ball Numbers Are Chosen

Once betting time has closed, Eleven Lucky Ball numbers are randomly selected from a virtual pool of sixty balls.

Free balls can also be randomly selected for each Bonus round, where a number is removed and given a free pass, signified by a red blob.

As the balls are chosen, the first three are assigned to the Major Bonus Card, the next four to the Grand Bonus cards and the last Four to the Mega Bonus Card.

Twenty balls are now drawn from a pool of sixty balls from the bingo machine.

If there is a match on your cards with a drawn ball, the number is dabbed with a Red Dot. This also occurs if there is a match on the Bonus Cards.

Mega Fire Blaze Lucky Ball Bonus Rounds

The three Bonus rounds, Major, Grand and Mega, operate similarly. The Major Bonus has three balls, and the Grand and Mega have four.

Other than the number of balls needed to qualify, there are other differences.

The multipliers increase in value, with bigger multipliers in the Mega Bonus. The number of segments also increases from Two to Four to Six in the Mega Bonus.

The more segments, the higher the potential payouts.

How The Bonus Round Works

Qualification for the bonus round occurs when you complete one of the Major, Grand or Mega Fire Blaze Bonus cards.

A bonus grid is displayed for each of the Rounds, showing several segments containing two three-slot columns.

The Major Bonus contains Two Segments (four three-slot columns), the Grand contains Four Segments (Eight three-slot columns), and the Mega has Six Segments (with twelve three-slot columns).

Three cycles of raining Orbs containing multipliers tumble down into the grid. You have three lives to start with. If a multiplier sticks in the grid, the lives are reset to three. Losing all three lives ends the bonus round. When the multipliers fill up a segment in the grid, a special segment multiplier is activated, which increases all the multipliers in the segment.

Segments can also benefit from Star Multipliers, which are added to the multiplier total if revealed during the game.

The aim is to fill the segments so the segment multipliers become active, boosting the potential payout.

The way the game is structured with winning lines, you have as much chance of getting a winning line as you do one of the Bonus Winning lines. You've more chance of winning the Major Bonus as it only needs three balls to complete the line and less if there is a free ball. But the Major, Grand and Mega cards only have one line, whereas the other cards have nine possible lines. This means you get better value for your bet on the main cards (9 chances) than on the bonus cards (1 chance).

• You won't participate in the bonus rounds when they occur. The maximum possible win you'll get is 250x for a line containing three lucky balls. But you'll be saving money by not playing the Bonus Cards. Don't play like this. The game is about the Bonus rounds, so why not play them? This strategy will turn over your money, so worth considering if you have a limited bankroll and want to pay without the chance of winning big.

  Play just the Bingo cards.

• You'll undoubtedly get the bonus rounds when they occur, but you might have to wait a long time and lose a lot of money. You have to hope you can recoup it and more during the bonus round.

  Only play the Bonus cards.

• Most people will play this way if the bet is a small proportion of your bankroll. You'll turn over your money more this way and be in the bonus rounds when they occur.

  Play All the cards, including the Bonus Cards.

• This will reduce your total outlay per game and your chances of making lines. It's a way to say money while still participating in the game and a strategy I think many people will follow.

Summary

I'm slightly biased here as I love the Mega Fire Blaze Bonus Round feature. I think the Roulette version is brilliant, and I must admit, I love this Bingo variant.

Keeping the number of cards manageable is precisely how I want to play Bingo. I can just about keep track of the lines as they build, and the helpful highlighting of the dots in Red and Orange make it easy to see what numbers have gone and the single numbers needed to make up a line.

I like the extra random free ball you get on the bonus rounds, and whenever you get the bonus round, you feel there is a chance to win big.

Knowing the maximum payout for each round is good, as that sets some expectations. The big wins come in the Mega bonus round, but the stars must line up if you hope to see more than 100x regularly.

All in all a great bingo game. Simple in its delivery and excellent in its execution.
