Las Vegas Sands to Enter Live Dealer Space
Las Vegas Sands Corporation has announced plans to enter the Live Dealer space with initial studios in Las Vegas and in Europe in the Bulgarian capital Sophia.
Not much else is known at this stage.
Sands Aiming To Disrupt Live Dealer
While there is a lot of speculation going on, the only formal comment that’s come from the Sands Corp is a cryptic online post from one of the VPs, Paul Myall, who posted,
“Please get in touch if you’d like to hear what Sands is planning in the live dealer space. We’re gearing up for our launch with spectacular table games and game shows!”
That one sentence has sent some industry veterans into a tizzy, claiming it will be game-changing to have such a rich player enter the live dealer gaming space.
On the other hand, I am hopeful this move will drive innovation and player experiences forward, either by Sands or the existing developers of live casino games.
No timetable or plan has been released, so it’s a case of watching this space to see what happens.
