Vegas Ball Bonanza Live Review, Strategy and How to Play

Vegas Ball Bonanza Live

Introduction to Vegas Ball Bonanza

Vegas Ball Bonanza is a fast-paced live dealer bingo game from Pragmatic Play.

You can play up to nine 3x3 bingo cards. Up to five numbers can be allocated multipliers, boosting the payout for a card if the number is drawn from the bingo machine.

Two bonus balls can further increase the number of balls drawn during a game or activate all the multipliers on the cards boosting the payout potential.

The maximum possible multiplier is 20,000x on one ticket, while payouts are capped at £$€500,000.

In this review, I'll explain how to play Vegas Ball Bonanza and discuss some playing strategies. Of course, I'll summarise the review with what I think about this new bingo game from Pragmatic.

My Video Review demonstrates some gameplay, including the bonus balls' impact on the game round.

Vegas Ball Bonanza Live at A Glance?

On opening the game, you're presented with a visually appealing game studio in true Pragmatic Style. The bingo ball machine sits front and centre, from where the balls are drawn.

On the back wall is what appears to be a line from a five-reel slot machine, but it's used to determine the numbers that will receive multipliers and their values.

To the left is the Wild Symbol, signifying when the WIld is active and to the right of the screen is the Bonus Wheel, which dishes out the extra balls when the bonus ball is drawn from the machine.

Here's a glance at the components of Begas Ball Bonanza.

  • The Bingo Ball machine contains 30 balls, numbered 1 - 30.
  • Two additional balls for the Star Bonus and Wild Bonus.
  • Up to 5 lucky numbers are allocated multipliers between 2x and 50x.
  • 9 balls are drawn each game unless the Wild Bonus is in play which can increase the balls drawn between 1-4.
  • Each card has three lines and three columns. Completed lines win a payout.
  • It's possible to play up to 9 cards each game round.
  • The payout for a Full house is 250:1.
  • The maximum payout per card is 20,000x, with wins capped at £$€500,000
  • The overall RTP is 95.97%.
  • The betting time is 12 seconds.

How To Play Vegas Ball Bonanza

Vegas Ball Bonanza Live

Selecting Your Cards

The game starts with 12 seconds of betting time.

The first thing you need to do is select the bet amount for the cards you will play.

Then you click on the card(s). Each card rotates, revealing the nine numbers. If you don't like the look of the numbers, you can hit Refresh to get another set of nine numbers.

But be aware that 12 seconds is not long to do this for all the cards!

During the betting time window, it's possible to increase or decrease the value of the bet on all the cards once you've selected them.

When the betting time has finished, your selections are locked in.

Don't forget to use the Autoplay function, which allows you to repeat the same bet for between 5 to 100 game rounds.

Note: While the numbers on the cards are randomly selected, they are placed in a pre-set order. Column 1 will have numbers between 1 - 10 (Green Balls), Column 2 will contain numbers between 11 & 20 (white balls) and Column 3 will contain balls with numbers between 21 & 30 (yellow balls).

Lucky Number Multipliers Are Chosen

Vegas Ball Bonanza Live

On the wall behind the bingo machine is a single-line slot, which determines the number of lucky numbers, the numbers, and the multiplier values each of them will have.

The multipliers can range from 2x to 50x, while the total numbers can be between 1 and 5.

Columns headed with a "Star Symbol" are not active.

This is an RNG process, so while the reels spin, it's an RNG engine that chooses the numbers and values of the multipliers.

Once chosen, the numbers are highlighted on the cards you have in play and displayed on the screen for the duration of the game round.

Balls Are Drawn

Vegas Ball Bonanza Live

The dealer stands by the bingo ball machine as the balls are tossed inside. This automated process uses compressed air and vacuums to select the balls.

The chosen ball is sucked up the tube before being rolled into the hopper. Its value is recorded on screen and dabbed out on the bingo cards in play.

Initially, nine balls are scheduled to be chosen from 30, but if a Wild Bonus ball is drawn, a wheel is spun to select 1 - 4 additional balls to be drawn.

The bingo machine also contains a "Star" bonus ball, which, if drawn, activates all the multiplier numbers on all in-play Bingo cards.

Bonus Rounds Explained

Vegas Ball Bonanza Live

Wild Bonus Feature

A "Wild" ball drawn from the Bingo Ball Machine immediately activates the bonus feature.

A 10-segment bonus wheel containing numbers between 1 & 4 is spun.

The numbered section where the wheel stops is the additional number of balls that will be added to the main draw.

The main draw can go from 9 balls to 13 balls, vastly increasing the chances of more lines on cards being completed.

Following the feature, the main draw continues.

The Star Bonus Feature

If a "Star" ball is drawn from the machine, all of the multiplier numbers are activated on the cards. This will increase the payout values for every card with a multiplier number.

Cards with multiple multiplier numbers get a bigger boost when the numbers are multiplied together.

Payout Table

2 Lines5:1
3 Lines20:1
4 Lines60:1
Full House250:1

The optimal RTP for Vegas Big Bonanza is 95.97%.

You must complete vertical and horizontal lines to win on Vegas Ball Bonanza.

The more lines you complete, the higher the payouts.

A line contains three numbers. Completing the card of all nine numbers is known as a Full House, which pays 250:1.

A single line pays even money, 1:1.

A diagonal line does not count.

The value of the payouts can be increased if multiplier numbers have been activated on a card.

Playing Strategies and Tactics for Vegas Ball Bonanza

Let's get this straight. This is Bingo, so as far as strategies go, there aren't any.

The only strategy, per se, is how many cards to play, and then that's not really a strategy. It's just how much you can afford to bet each game round.

Do you buy one card for, say, £9 or nine cards for £1 each?

I think you buy more cards for less money, increasing your chances of winning. You'll get more multiplier numbers and more wins.

You should ensure your total bet for each game is not more than 5% of your balance, and you are good to go.

Vegas Ball Bonanza Game Statistics and Results Tracker

I find it difficult to track the numbered balls drawn from the machine in most Bingo-type games.

If there is a match with a number on one of your cards, it's generally apparent.

But when there are more than just numbers to keep track of, it can become challenging to pick out the information, especially when multipliers are involved.

So, Pragmatic has produced two excellent little features in the playing interface so you can keep track.

The Bonus Ball Numbers and Multipliers are displayed in an easy-to-read grid.

The 30 Ball numbers are displayed in a 10x3 grid, or you can change the view to show just the numbers of the balls as they are drawn. I prefer the 30 Ball view because I can see everything in one picture.

There are no past results to review. I guess Pragmatic felt this wasn't important, and I tend to agree with this game. Knowing how many numbers were chosen for multipliers and their values would be nice - so you can feel how the game plays.

As for previous results, they play no part in what happens in the future, so they are irrelevant. I'm not sure a Baccarat player would agree!

How Vegas Ball Bonanza Compares with Other Bingo Games

The two other primary live dealer Bingo games are Mega Ball and Monopoly Big Baller by Evolution. They use the bouncing ball machine to select numbers, and both games fill out bingo cards to win prizes.

Mega Ball has the most cards, up to 200 in play at one time, and has a bonus ball at the end of the round that can boost payouts.

Monopoly Big Baller has fewer cards, and you can choose the type of multipliers you want to play on the cards. An additional Monopoly Bonus round can also be played alongside the main cards or alone. The bingo card's prizes are similar, but lines are boosted with multipliers, not whole cards, like in Vegas Ball Bonanza.

Vegas Ball Bonanza has as much, if not more, potential and is very simple in its concept. Game rounds are rapid.

If you're looking for bonus rounds, then Monopoly Big Baller is the pick of the bunch. Likewise, Mega Ball is the way to go if you want lots of cards. If you want something easy where you can win up to 20,000x, Vegas Ball is the game to play.

Summary

When I first saw Vegas Ball Bonanza, I had two thoughts. Oh no, not another Bingo Game! My second thought was how tacky the studio looked with its pastel shades of oranges and red.

The single-line slot is the most prominent part of the studio, so when you first join the game, you don't immediately know it's bingo.

However, these are small things because I enjoyed the game's simplicity once I started playing.

I like there are only a maximum of nine cards you can play - you don't feel pressured into buying more. You can visually keep track of the cards and numbers while the balls are being drawn, unlike Mega Ball, where you have 200 cards and rely on the playing interface to tell you what's happening.

I love the simplicity of the multipliers - get one, and it's active for the whole card., unlike other games where it's only on the line that benefits.

The bonuses are simple and effective for this game. I guess Pragmatic could have created a bonus round where you go off and do something else, but that would complicate the game more.

I was a doubter, but I've enjoyed playing Vegas Ball Bonanza because it's simple. The RTP is low, so not a game I'll play regularly, but it's a good game if you want a Bingo fix without having to spend too much playing.
