London Casinos Map and Guide

If you’re looking to gamble at one of London’s 24 casinos, this is the guide. It includes a convenient map with directions and descriptions of each casino to find the best one for your gambling tastes.
You’ll find the usual casino table games in London casinos, such as Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Three-Card Poker, and lots of slot machines in the most exclusive establishments. Most casinos have dedicated poker rooms where you can play low—and high-stakes poker.
But what really stands out is the quality of food and service in the London casinos. The aura of exclusivity at some of these establishments really adds to the enjoyment. So, whichever casino you choose, don’t neglect the restaurants and bars, as these are often top-class, some of the best you’ll find in London.

How to Use This Map
Click or tap Legend to see a complete list of casinos, and then choose the one you want to know the location for.
Alternatively, zoom and scroll through the map to find the area you’re interested in. Then click or tap on the blue dice symbol to see what casino it is.
If you click View in Google Maps, you’ll switch to Google Maps for navigation and can get directions for driving, walking, or public transit from your present location.
Four Areas With The Most Casinos
If you want to walk into as many casinos as possible in one night, head to Hyde Park Corner. Five casinos are within practically the same block, and three more are a bit further away.
Everyone knows Leicester Square has a casino because The Hippodrome has been in the perfect location since 1900 (or since 2009 in its present shape and form). Empire Casino, Grosvenor Piccadilly, and The Backstage Bar are heading towards Piccadilly Circus.
The third area of note is Marble Arch and Marylebone, where two Grosvenor facilities, The Barracuda Club and The Little Vic, are located, with The Sportsman Casino in the middle.
Don’t miss Games at the Vic, a separate slots-only venue.
There’s another hub at South Kensington, where the Forty-Five is, which, in my opinion, is the most elegant London casino.
Maxims Club and Grosvenor Gloucester Road are nearby.
London Casinos with Online Live Games
The fastest way to play roulette at a London casino is to choose one of the four casinos that stream live roulette action online from the casino floor. You’ll place bets on the same spins the physical customers are betting on!
Roulette is the only game streamed this way. Read more about this in my roulette live stream article where you’ll also find other casinos from around the world that stream live action from the casino floor.
Here are the London ones and links to websites to access the stream.

London’s Premier Gambling Casinos
You may want the grandiose style luxury of the Metropolitan Casino Mayfair, The Victoria Casino or The Hippodrome, or you may be looking for a more intimate experience Forty-Five Kensington will provide.
Whatever you’re looking for, I’ve gathered the luxurious casinos into a small list. They’re in no particular order.

Walk-In Casinos
London has some very exclusive casinos for members only and doesn’t allow “walk-ins”.
Most other casinos will let you register, and very few accept walk-in customers without registration.
However, there are two in Leicester Square that you can walk into, as long as you’re sober and an adult.
Random ID checks are performed at the door when you enter, so it’s a good idea to have a photo ID on you, like a driver’s license or passport. It’s also worth having these so you can sign up for the rewards program, which will get you discounted meals and free drinks.
Casino Name | Address |
---|---|
Empire Casino | 5-6 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7NA |
The Hippodrome | Cranbourn St, Leicester Square, London WC2H 7JH |
24 Hour Casinos
The two walk-in casinos above, Empire and The Hippodrome, are open 24/7.
Grosvenor Golden Horseshoe in Bayswater is also open 24/7, as is Aspers at Westfield.
Casinos for Young Adults
These would be the casinos that don’t have that 19th-century style but cater to the young adult audience that wants to have a fun night out.
There’s a difference. Here, you can walk in dressed in casual clothes with your mates, drink, and laugh the night away.
One is near Hyde Park, and the other is near Piccadilly Circus.
Venue | Address |
---|---|
Backstage Bar @ The Rialto | 3-4 Coventry St, London W1D 6BL |
The Colony Club | 24 Hertford Street, Mayfair, London, WIJ 7SA |
Grosvenor Casinos in London
There are seven Grosvenor casinos in London. They’re listed on the map in the Grosvenor Casinos group.
Grosvenor casinos all look the same, giving an air of familiarity to their visitors.
The ones that stand out are the Piccadilly Casino, which is like a large ballroom with a balcony, similar to what the nearby Hippodrome has, and the Golden Horseshoe, which you’ll love if you’re a fan of Agatha Christie.
The Barracuda Club is a nice, elegant facility on Baker Street. I like it a lot, but it just barely makes my ‘luxurious’ list above.
The Vic is the largest one. I wouldn’t call it luxurious, but it is glorious in scale and outside appearance. It’s also home to another facility that is sometimes listed separately, The Poker Room.

Genting Casinos in London
Genting operates four casinos in London, including the well-known Crockfords casino, the oldest British casino, which closed in October 2023 after 195 years of service.
Only one of the four casinos is known as Genting, so you may not have been aware they’re all part of the same brand.
Unlike Grosvenor, where all casinos look alike, Genting aims to make each casino a separate experience.
And the experiences vary widely.
The Colony Club is primarily a club, bar and restaurant with a luxurious casino space.
Forty-Five is a dark and intimate casino that oozes elegance.
The Palm Beach is your old-school casino.
The casino in Chinatown is very busy as you’d expect for that part of london.
Casino Name | Address |
---|---|
The Palm Beach | 30 Berkeley Street, London, W1J 8EH |
The Colony Club | 24 Hertford Street, Mayfair, London, WIJ 7SA |
Genting London Chinatown | 93 – 107 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, W1D 5DY |
Forty Five Kensington | 43 – 45 Cromwell Road, London, SW7 2EF |
Hotels with Casinos
Did you know that The Ritz had a casino called The Ritz Club?
Sadly, it decided not to reopen following the lockdown after years of not being able to turn a profit. It closed in 2020.
Hard Rock acquired its licence but hasn’t done anything with it yet, although a Hard Rock Casino will reportedly open in London in the future.
There is nothing similar in London, but if a hotel-casino emerges, I’ll add it here.
Not on this list: Slot arcades
I have decided not to include any slot arcades on this map. If you want to find them, search Google Maps for Admiral, City Slots and Game Nation facilities.
London Casinos Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How many casinos does London have?
London currently has 23 casinos, not including various slot arcades and other minor establishments that aren’t true casinos.

The competition is fierce, but after the closure of The Ritz Club, the title of the most prestigious casino in London probably goes to Crown London Aspinall’s. Or one of the other Mayfair casinos, such as Les Ambassadeurs.
Is there a dress code for London casinos?
Yes, each casino has a dress code, which you should check before entering. Some have strict(er) dress codes, while others will let you in if you’re not wearing flip-flops. In most cases, the dress policy is smart casual.
