Wildz Group has become the first operator to receive approval for a business-to-consumer (B2C) gambling licence in Finland, according to the company. The approval marks an important step ahead of the country’s planned launch of its regulated online gambling market in July 2027.
Finland’s Regulated Market Set for July 2027
The company said it received formal confirmation from Finland’s National Police Board on 15 October. Its brands include Wildz, Caxino and Spinz.
The licence will allow the group to offer online gambling services when the new market opens on 1 July 2027.
The approval is recognition of the team’s work on the application, and the company is looking forward to entering the Finnish market.

Licence Applications Continue to Rise
Wildz Group’s approval comes amid growing industry interest in Finland. The National Police Board had reportedly received 75 licence applications by 22 September, compared with 50 in June. Processing applications is expected to take between six and eight months.
The country’s new framework will also introduce licensing requirements for B2B iGaming suppliers from 1 July 2028, extending the regulatory system beyond operators.
