Evolution has expanded its live casino portfolio with Disco Balls, a new live ball-drawing game in which multipliers build during the main round and can carry into bonus features.
Announced on September 9, 2026, Disco Balls combines a lottery-style number draw with the colourful presentation associated with Evolution’s Funky Time. Players choose numbers from 1 to 20 before a series of balls determines the result. According to Evolution, total multipliers can reach up to 10,000x.
Disco Balls puts evolving multipliers in the main game
Players can select an individual number from 1 to 20 or use broader bets covering Low, High, Even or Odd outcomes.
Once betting closes, Evolution’s Disco Cat distributes random multipliers across the betting grid and assigns a Disco Bonus or VIP Disco Bonus symbol to one number.
The ball draw then begins. Step balls move the red or gold multiplier ladders upwards, with their values increasing from 5x to as much as 500x. The Disco Cat returns during the sequence, creating further opportunities for additional multipliers and bonus symbols.
A Result ball ends the draw and determines the winning number. The multiplier progression therefore takes place before the winning outcome is revealed.
Bonus rounds bring Mr Funky back
If the Result ball reveals a Bonus number, the multipliers collected during the main draw carry into either the Disco or VIP Disco Bonus game. Both features use Mr Funky, the character familiar from Evolution’s Funky Time game show.
Mr Funky moves across a virtual dance floor, collecting additional multipliers as the bonus round progresses. The feature ends when he moves beyond the edge of the floor.
The VIP Disco version gives Mr Funky a larger dance floor, providing more space for the bonus sequence to develop.
Evolution targets more action before the bonus
Todd Haushalter, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, said the company wanted to make the base game itself as engaging as a bonus round.
According to Haushalter, the concept is designed around the idea that players should see potential payouts increase from the moment betting closes. He described Disco Balls as a new approach to the game-show format.
The launch follows Evolution’s MONOPOLY Roll ’em release in July. Evolution has not specified operator or market availability in its Disco Balls announcement.
