Press Release 29th November 2023
Join the Fun on Treasure Island
Pragmatic Play has released its latest live dealer gameshow, Treasure Island, to join the popular gameshow titles of Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, Snakes & Ladders, Boom City and Vegas Ball Bonanza.
Treasure Island Live uses a big 54-segment wheel to drive this game. Covered in Gems and six bonus rounds, there is always an opportunity to win if you pick the segments where the wheel will stop.
The bonus rounds transport you into Treasure Island, where you can win multiplier prizes playing John Silver’s Loot, Ben’s Lost Marbles, Billy Bones’ Map, and Captain Flint’s Treasure. Cash prizes are payable through the Gems, and instant wins with the Great Scavenger and Wild Collector.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said:
“Treasure Island is an epic addition to Pragmatic Play’s Live Casino range. Combining seven games in one with a popular theme and fast-paced gameplay, it’s an expansive, immersive, and highly energetic game show that delivers a truly cinematic experience with rolling waves, shifting clouds, swaying trees, and other superb visual effects. Treasure Island is pure adventure.”

This is undoubtedly a lavish game that much thought has gone into. The varying Gem multipliers are a unique feature we’ve not seen elsewhere that adds an unnecessary compilation level.
The Six Bonus rounds provide a consistent feel and outcome, and while player choice is available in two games, RNG is responsible for the result in all the others.
The frequency of the bonus rounds means there are many low-paying outcomes that players will tire of after a while.
The studio is impressive, and the game’s presentation is excellent, but this game lacks the punch you want from a live game.
