Gold Bar Roulette to Close

Evolition has decided to close Gold Bar Roulette, its extravagant live multiplier roulette game set in a gold bank vault.

The game allows players to collect gold bars, each with a multiplier value, which can be used on subsequent spins.

I thought this was a great innovation at the time of the release. It gave players control over using the multipliers by placing them anywhere on the betting grid and piling them high to create ample payout opportunities.

I saw this as an excellent method for silencing the naysayers about games being fixed by handing complete control over to the player.

Well, players have voted with their feet, as the game has never reached the heights Evolution was hoping for.

Privately, I’ve been told that players found the game too confusing and didn’t like deciding how to play the multipliers.

It’s a real shame, as the game looked great – it just didn’t hit the mark with players.

When will the Closure Happen?

The table is due to close on the 19th of April, 2023.

What will happen to Unused Gold Bars?

A player can store unused gold bars in their account for up to 180 days – each gold bar is worth 88x and has a value of the amount played to win it.

Players will be advised to either use their gold bars before a deadline or have them converted into cash and returned to their player account.

Casinos will communicate specific information to players during March.

What will happen to The Studio?

The studio will be closed and transformed for a new game launched in the middle of 2023.

There is no information on whether this will be roulette or some other type of game.
