Introducing Walterspins Bonus Round
Adventures Beyond Wonderland has been given a makeover, with a new Bonus round added to the game.
The new Bonus round is called WalterSpins, after Walter, the blue caterpillar that sits to the right of the big wheel.
To accommodate the new Bonus round, one of the number one segments has been replaced by a 2 Walterspins segment.
The new bonus round is initiated when the wheel stops on this segment.
The new bonus round uses the same Bonus wheel used for the 2 and 5 Wonderspins.
To remind you, it’s a 54-segment wheel containing characters from the Adventures of Wonderland, with each assigned a base multiplier value.
There are also Eat Me & Drink Me segments which increase or decrease the multiplier values of the characters, while a No Win segment is just that, No Win.
Walters blows four bubbles containing hidden multipliers (1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x). You have to pick one bubble that, when popped, reveals your multiplier.
The multiplier is applied to all of the characters on the bonus wheel.
Two spins on the Bonus wheel are made:
At the beginning of each spin, the inner wheel spins, selecting either a multiplier value to be added to one of the characters on the outer wheel or an extra spin.
If a multiplier is selected, Walter blows another bubble, which bursts, revealing the character that will receive the extra multiplier.
If an extra spin is won, the inner wheel is spun again until a multiplier is selected.
The bonus wheel is spun, and the multiplier is added to your total prize pool wherever it stops.
At the end of the bonus round, the multiplier value is paid to you as your winnings. Your original bet is not returned.
What is the RTP?
The 2 Walterspins Bonus Round has an RTP of 96.11% – which is the lowest of all the bonus rounds.
What is the impact of adding Walterspins to Adventures in Wonderland?
- The number of the One segments on the big wheel has been reduced from 22 to 21.
- The RTP for Number one has been reduced from 96.82% to 96.64%.
All other aspects of the original Adventures Beyond Wonderland remain the same.
Is The Walterspins Bonus round any good?
The Walterspins bonus rounds have the potential to pay some decent wins – but this is reliant on having a good multiplier going into the game round, getting some free spins and Walter blowing a few boosting bubbles.
I expect the base payouts to start from about 15-20x and go upwards. You’d be unlucky to get one that low, but it’s possible.
Is there a strategy for WalterSpins
There is no strategy other than to make sure you have a qualifying bet on the bonus round when it’s triggered. The game controls the rest of the bonus round, apart from your initial choice of which bubble to burst.
Where are Walterspins available?
Walterspins has been added as a core element to Adventures Beyond Wonderland, so it’s available everywhere.
How often will the Bonus round Trigger?
There are 54 segments on the wheel, so there is a 1 in 54 chance of happening, which equates to 1.85%. So not often enough.
However, there is nothing to say you couldn’t get two consecutive spins landing on this bonus round feature. Just look at Crazy Time by Evolution – that is very similar.
