ICONIC21 has introduced Face Down Double Down, a new Blackjack feature designed to bring an additional layer of suspense to online tables. The feature is now available in selected ICONIC21 Blackjack titles, including 7-Seater Blackjack and Private Blackjack.
The feature gives players two options when choosing to double their original wager. With Double Face Up, the additional card is revealed immediately, following the standard doubling action.
With Double Face Down, the player also doubles the original wager and receives one additional card, but that card remains hidden until the dealer completes their hand. The difference between the two options is therefore the timing of the card reveal rather than the amount wagered or the number of cards received.
ICONIC21 said the feature was designed to recreate a familiar land-based casino experience while adding suspense to the online version of Blackjack. The provider has positioned Face Down Double Down as an additional gameplay option rather than a separate game. Players can continue using the standard Blackjack format while choosing whether to reveal their additional card immediately or later in the round.
The feature is now available through selected ICONIC21 Blackjack titles, with the company continuing to expand its online live casino portfolio.
