My guilty pleasure for TV shows are the ones that show you “how things are made” or “how things work”. I love them.
I can spend literally hours watching them if I have nothing better to do.
Perhaps it’s one of the reasons why I like to get behind the scenes at Live Casinos, to see what makes them tick.
So I was delighted to stumble across a Behind the Scenes youtube video from Evolution Gaming, talking about the Making of Monopoly Live Dream Catcher.
This ticks my boxes on so many levels.
It’s a great watch, about 8 minutes long, and it gives a real insight in to the complexities of creating a game like this.
What also comes across is the passion from all involved, designers, coders and technicians all aiming for the same thing, to give players the best experience possible.
Hats off to Evolution for producing this. I know it’s great PR for them, but for the average Joe like me, it’s great to see how complicated game development can be.
The idea that there’s more to come has already got me excited for ICE 2020, where Evolution will be announcing a range of new games.
As Todd Haushalter says in the video:
“Now we’ve done it, we’re going to keep dreaming big. There will be a lot of stuff like this coming in the future”.
Evolution Monopoly Big Baller is the next Monopoly game to be released. It used the same RNG Bonus round as the original game but has 3 and 5 rolls.
