Relax Gaming has released Money Train 5, the fifth instalment in its Money Train slot franchise.
The new game follows four previous entries and returns after Money Train 4 had been presented as the final instalment. Relax Gaming said the latest title was brought back following demand for another chapter in the series.

New characters join the Money Train world
The latest instalment is set in a post-apocalyptic environment and introduces characters including the Ticket Master, Bomber and Pyromancer.
A new Nuclear Wild feature is also included in the game, adding another mechanic to the established Money Train format.
Relax Gaming has designed the fifth instalment around increased unpredictability and additional ways for players to access and interact with the game’s features.
The developer said the new title aims to maintain the core elements of the franchise while expanding its gameplay structure.
Standard and Ultra Modes offer different options
Money Train 5 includes Standard and Ultra Modes, giving players different ways to approach the game.
The slot also features multiple Buy Feature options. These provide alternative ways of accessing the game’s bonus features, adding another layer to the way the title can be played.
The additional modes and feature options form part of Relax Gaming’s approach to expanding the mechanics without moving away from the identity established by the earlier Money Train releases.
The company has positioned the fifth game as an evolution of the franchise rather than a complete departure from its previous titles.

Launch campaign targets streaming community
Relax Gaming has launched the game alongside the campaign “Whatever you had planned, think again”.
The campaign includes the MT5 Ultra Challenge, which is designed to involve the streaming community directly with the new release.
The initiative adds a promotional element around the return of the Money Train series, which has developed into one of Relax Gaming’s established original game brands.
Money Train 5 is available through Relax Gaming’s global operator network, alongside content supplied through the company’s wider distribution network.
Relax Gaming executives discuss franchise return
Tony O’Mahony, Chief Product Officer at Relax Gaming, said continuing the Money Train series was not a decision the company took lightly after Money Train 4 had been positioned as the final game.
He said the objective was to expand the series while retaining the characteristics that had defined the franchise.
Martin Stålros, CEO of Relax Gaming, described Money Train as one of the company’s defining titles and said the response to the fifth instalment demonstrated the continued interest surrounding the brand.
Money Train 5 therefore represents the latest chapter in one of Relax Gaming’s longest-running original slot franchises, combining familiar elements with new characters, mechanics, modes and feature options.
