Sweet Bonanza Candyland from Pragmatic Play has received an upgrade, with some fundamental changes being made to improve the playability of the game.

The New Bonus Round – Bubble Surprise

Bubble Surprise occupies three segments on the wheel. It is a bonus round that delivers multipliers or will trigger the Candy Drop or Super Spins Bonus rounds, depending on which symbol a single reel slot stops on.

The options are:

1. Blue Candy pays 5x.
2. Purple Candy pays 10x.
3. Red Heart Candy pays 25x.
4. Candy Drop Symbol initiates the Candy Drop Bonus round.
5. The Sweet Spins symbol initiates the Sweet Spins Bonus round.

Have the Changes Been Positive?

This is a resounding yes. I’ve played the game and there are more chances to get a bonus round and therefore an enhanced payout.

There is now a 1 in 6 chance of getting a bonus round segment, which is an improvement from the previous version which was 1 in 9.

Although the difference may appear small, more frequent bonus rounds creates the anticipation of being able to get a decent win.

The game is still very volatile, with the lowest win from a bonus round being 2x.
