11th January 2016 – Evolution Gaming continue their innovation in the live casino space by signing an exclusive agreement with Scientific Games to provide a live casino version of Ultimate Texas Hold’Em.
Under the terms of the 3 1/2 year agreement, Evolution will be the sole Live Casino provider to offer the game, with the possibility to extend with additional game content from Scientific Games’ proprietary portfolio.
Ultimate Texas Hold’em is the world’s most popular house-banked Texas Hold’em game, and generates in excess of EUR 1.5 billion per year in GGR in land-based casinos globally.
The game is fully scalable, making it possible for an unlimited number of players to play from a single table.
Evolution expects the game to be an attractive tool for operators to convert poker players into casino players. A first launch to licensees is expected this summer.
Tom Wood, Vice President and Chief Product Officer, B2B, Interactive at Scientific Games said:
“There was a time when a dozen different Hold’em games were being offered by casinos, but only this one emerged from the pack as the dominant game at land-based casinos around the world. With its scalability and pace, we are confident that it will be an excellent game in the Live Casino environment, and we are excited to see Evolution with its industry-leading platform being the provider to make it happen.”
Todd Haushalter, CPO of Evolution Gaming, said:
“We are excited about furthering our partnership with Scientific Games. Being able to exclusively offer our partners the most popular Hold’em game in the world helps us further cement our leadership position in the Live Casino space. Building up our specialty game offering which also includes Caribbean Stud and Three Card Poker is part of our strategy to make the transition from land-based to online seamless for players.”
This announcement comes following the launch of two new games by Evolution Gaming, Live Baccarat Squeeze and Live Caribbean Stud Poker, which demonstrates their commitment to be the number one online Live Casino provider.
I have tried to be objective and consistent with all my live casino reviews. Hopefully, they will strike a chord with you, but I thought it might be helpful to explain the criteria I use to mark each of the casinos. Hopefully, the categories and explanations make sense.
Playability – What is the overall impression of the casino? Did I have a good time? are the dealers nice and chatty and is everything easy to understand? Does it have a good set of games and is there a comprehensive set of betting options? Are high stakes players taken care of?
Software – What is the software like to use and does it integrate well with the rest of the casino?. Are the images clear and is the video streaming fast? Have they taken more than the default shared tables? Is it available on mobile?
Payment Options – Does the casino have a good variety of payment options? Do they payout quickly and on time?
Security – How good is the reputation of the casino amongst other players? Do they hold a valid gaming license? Are they transparent about the security measures they have in place? Are they regularly audited? Do they publish this information?
Support – Do they have multiple methods for communication with me? Is support available 24×7? Do they have instant chat and are they quick to respond? Are they able to help me immediately? Do they have an online FAQ and self-help library? Are the support people knowledgeable about the product I’m playing?
Bonuses – Do they have bonuses?. How strict are the wagering requirements? Do they offer repeat bonuses?. Do they offer loyalty points and can they be redeemed for cash or playing credits?
After all that, would I play there regularly?
