Pragmatic Play Live Casino enters UK Market

Pragmatic Play has announced that its live casino solution will soon be ready for UK Players.

I’m absolutely delighted with this news and something I’ve personally been waiting for since they launched last year.

Pragmatic purchased live casino provider Extreme Live Gaming in 2018, and everyone thought, me included, that they’d re-skin the games and re-launch.

However that was not the case, with Pragmatic choosing instead to build from the ground up.

What’s been created is a million miles away from the Extreme solution, but I’m expecting to see some of the unique functionality they purchased rolled out sometime in the future.

Mean while, UK players will have to be satisfied with Blackjack and Roulette, which are streamed from their studio in Bucharest, Romania.

I’m wondering which casino will get them first?

Full Press Release – 14th November 2019

Pragmatic Play is now ready to showcase its Live Casino portfolio within the UK market. Penetrating such an important market is a big step forward for the company and it surely will be followed by many more in the coming months.

Pragmatic Play, one of the leading software providers for video slots, live casino and bingo, is poised to launch its full Live Casino offering in the UK.

Sheriff Khamoura, Head of Compliance at Pragmatic Play, said:

“Taking our Live Casino portfolio into new regulated markets has always been a priority for us, and we’re ready to launch in this exciting territory.

“The UK has a significant number of brands with a proud heritage, and we are eagerly looking forward to join these prestigious brands with our dynamic and cutting-edge Live Casino offering.”

Broadcast from a state-of-the-art, newly constructed studio, Pragmatic Play’s live casino portfolio incorporates a wide selection of classic casino games, including Baccarat, Roulette and several variants of Blackjack.

Pragmatic Play’s recently released Live Blackjack contains an “Auto-Stand” feature, which is one-of-a-kind in the current market. The lightning quick addition increases game speed by 25%, highlighting how fast the Pragmatic Play Live Blackjack gameplay is.

The player can set a minimum value of card points and the system will automatically select the “Stand” option for them when reaching the respective value. Simply put, when the player gets a certain number of points, the hand will auto-stand after reaching the minimum points value.

Pragmatic Play has signed a number of significant Live Casino deals in recent months, with major operators such as Interwetten, 1xBet, Parimatch and BetConstruct.
