16th March 2018 – Playtech has opened a new Blackjack table, Soiree Blackjack for High Rollers, aiming to deliver a playing experience normally reserved for VIP’s in land based casinos.
Following the launch of the Salon Prive tables by Evolution, reserved only for very High Rollers, Playtech has made their counter move by releasing Playtech Soiree Blackjack.
“Soiree” is a French word often used in English to mean – “An evening party or gathering, typically in a private house, for conversation or music”.
I’m not quite sure how this translates to a Blackjack table, I guess you could say that gambling is a sort of party or gathering!
There are some similarities between the Salon Prive and Soiree Blackjack.
Both products also offer something different, so he;’s a quick review of what you’ll find at the Playtech offering.
The Playtech Soiree Blackjack table is aimed squarely High Rollers.
It’s fits nicely as another type of Playtech Live Blackjack.
It’s not the same as the Salon Prive tables. Why should it be?
I like the fact it’s different as that give us, the players, more choice.
It would be a boring world if everything was the same.
The table has the following characteristics.
I’d like to say I’ve had long sessions on the table, but that would be an outright lie.
The £50 minimum stake is too rich for my pockets, so I’ve only be able to watch play at the table.
What’s struck me is how popular it is.
There’ always been at least 2-3 players playing at the table. Which must me pleasing for Playtech and the casinos, as it’s getting used.
Quite often the higher value tables are empty for long periods of time.
Clearly not everyone at the table is of equal standing betting and balance wise.
I’m intrigued to know who holds the swing vote when requesting a dealer change or reshuffle.
It’s interesting that the minimum bet is set so low at £50.
This is normally the entry level for “VIP” tables across the industry and as such these table do get busy.
I wonder how that will effect the special options on this table.
I suspect that as the table is new they’ve decided to see what sort of players it attracts and then make adjustments afterwards.
It’s a better way to set the bar low and raise it, than the opposite of setting it too high so no-one gets to experience it.
I think yes.
There is always a need to provide players of value with options and it’s great to see that someone at Playtech understands that.
We’re starting to see a real appreciation of providing online players with a truly land based experience.
The usual suspects have signed up for the table.
I’d recommend Dafabet Casino.
