Playtech has published a statement regarding the impact of the Coronavirus Covid-19 to its live casino operations.
Playtech has issued a fairly broad statement this morning regarding its live casino operations during the Coronavirus Covid-19.
The statement says that “our Live Casino business remains strong and is highly supportive to our partners and licensees, including on the Spanish and Italian markets”.
Playtech runs their live casino operations from a number of studios located around the world and like most responsible businesses has comprehensive business continuity in place.
These have already been tested, after live dealer games were suspended in the Manilla studio, following mandatory requests by the Philippine Government.
A positive is the Auto (RNG) Roulette games are still operating from there.
What additional impacts we’ll see if more restrictions are placed on Playtech are difficult to assess at this time. I don’t want to guess what Playtech has in place or indeed what changes they’ve been making to improve what they already have.
Rest assured I’ll provide an update if things change.
Hopefully, we’ll see little impact, but perhaps some reduction in table capacity.
