Grosvenor’s expansion plans for their Live Casino have taken a big step forward with the opening of their new dedicated area at Evolution’s Malta studios.

Self proclaimed as the UK’s number one live casino provider the move gives Grosvenor the ability to expand even further in the future.

I think William Hill may have something to say about the title, but I really have no issues with either claim as we benefit from this sort of rivalry.

Richard Walker, Live Casino Product Manager at Grosvenor said,

As you can see we have launched the new studio with 8 dedicated tables, this includes the addition of the 2 new VIP Blackjack tables.

We moved to Malta for multiple reasons:

  • Deliver a best in class new studio environment.
  • Opportunity to expand.
  • Deliver a better quality of product and experience to our customers.
  • Incorporate our new brand styling and uniforms to have a seamless crossover.

Malta is known for their localised languages and with Grosvenor one of our biggest USP’s is that we have dedicated native English dealers.

Riga has only the non-native eastern European staff with no other native languages there. The move to Malta will see Grosvenor increase our native offerings to Roulette and Blackjack. This coupled with the local Maltese staff who have English as a first language we are able to deliver a better experience for our UK customer base.

Grosvenor Dedicated Live Tables – The Eight

As you can see there are 8 tables, with room in the studio to expand even more. Tables are opened gradually during the day until 7pm when peak playing times is reached.

All the tables are presented using Evolutions new full HD interface. There’s the option to play multi screen where you can have more than one screen active.

Dedicated Area

Within the dedicated area there a management station for the casino host. When promotions are running the host is bouncing around from table to table giving encouragement and explaining what the promotion is.

If you’re lucky to win one of the bonuses or free cash the host is able to add it to your account immediately.

The host seems to have a deal of flexibility when it comes to running the promotions. In my experience if no-one at the table has won during the promotional period the host will keep extending it until some one does.

Summary

The area looks and feels good and gives Grosvenor the ability to expand and maybe bring in new games in the future.

The host was very active during my last playing session, perhaps that was due to the promotion being run. I like that level of engagement as it makes it seem less robotic and more like the experience you get in one of their land based casinos.

About Neil’s Casino Comparer Reviews

I have tried to be objective and consistent with all my live casino reviews. Hopefully, they will strike a chord with you, but I thought it might be helpful to explain the criteria I use to mark each of the casinos. Hopefully, the categories and explanations make sense.

Playability – What is the overall impression of the casino? Did I have a good time? are the dealers nice and chatty and is everything easy to understand? Does it have a good set of games and is there a comprehensive set of betting options? Are high stakes players taken care of?

Software – What is the software like to use and does it integrate well with the rest of the casino?. Are the images clear and is the video streaming fast? Have they taken more than the default shared tables? Is it available on mobile?

Payment Options – Does the casino have a good variety of payment options? Do they payout quickly and on time?

Security – How good is the reputation of the casino amongst other players? Do they hold a valid gaming license? Are they transparent about the security measures they have in place? Are they regularly audited? Do they publish this information?

Support – Do they have multiple methods for communication with me? Is support available 24×7? Do they have instant chat and are they quick to respond? Are they able to help me immediately? Do they have an online FAQ and self-help library? Are the support people knowledgeable about the product I’m playing?

Bonuses – Do they have bonuses?. How strict are the wagering requirements? Do they offer repeat bonuses?. Do they offer loyalty points and can they be redeemed for cash or playing credits?

After all that, would I play there regularly?
